Measured dose dispenser and methods of using the same
A two-piece measured-dose dispensing closure includes a cup-shaped measuring chamber and a rotatable dispensing control lid. In use, the dispensing control lid is axially moved relative to the measuring chamber by rotation between a first closed position, a second intermediate dispensing position, and a third drain position.
Measured dose dispensers and methods of using the same
A dispensing closure for dispensing a flowable product from a squeeze-type product container includes a closure body having an upper deck, an exit orifice, and a skirt configured to attach to the product container. A measuring reservoir is received in engagement with a lower surface of the upper deck. The measuring reservoir is filled with a measured dose of flowable product through flow ports when the container is inverted. A piston valve is slidably movable within the measuring reservoir between an open position and a closed position. The piston valve is movable from the open position to the closed position to dispense the measured dose of product responsive to pressure within the container induced by squeezing.
Self-dosing measuring cap for a liquid container
In some embodiments, a system for dispensing liquid from a container holding a liquid comprises a reservoir mountable to the container so as to be in fluidic communication with the container. The reservoir may comprise an inlet and an outlet. When mounted to the container, the reservoir may be configured to measure a predetermined quantity of liquid while in first orientation and to simultaneously dispense the predetermined quantity of liquid from the outlet and receive a refilling quantity of liquid through the inlet while in a second orientation that is angled relative to the first orientation above a threshold angle.
Metering and pouring device for flowable substances and container equipped with such a metering and pouring device
A metering and pouring device for flowable substances including a holding part having an inside jacket enclosing a rotationally-symmetrical holding chamber with a first chamber section and a radially-projecting opening edge. The first chamber section extends axially from the opening edge to a circumferential, inclined support surface having a passage window. A metering insert encloses a metering chamber and is arranged within the holding part and has a metering window. A rotatable closure part can be turned from a first position into a second position and vice versa and will effect a turn of the metering insert relative to the holding part and a turn of the passage window relative to the metering window.
Angled spout associated with a timer for dispensing a controlled quantity of liquid composition
A fitment including a fitment body and a peripheral mount engaged with the fitment body. The fitment includes a timer and a spout oriented at an angle with respect to the mounting plane of the peripheral mount.
Angled spout associated with a timer for dispensing a controlled quantity of liquid composition
A container including a container body, a liquid composition contained in the container body, and a fitment. The fitment includes a timer and a spout oriented at an angle from the phreatic surface of the liquid composition contained in the container body.
Apparatus and process for dispensing a measured quantity of liquid
An apparatus and process for dispensing a measured quantity of liquid from a container. The apparatus includes a pour chamber having a dam, a spout, a vent, and a timer that is independent of flow in the pour chamber.
Measuring and dispensing container
A measuring and dispensing container having a flexible walled reservoir chamber, a measuring and dispensing chamber and a conduit for transferring liquid from said reservoir chamber to said measuring and dispensing chamber. The reservoir is provided with a non-squeezable handle by which it can be grasped when tilting the container to dispense liquid from the dispensing chamber so as to reduce the risk that excess force applied to the reservoir by a hand holding it will squeeze more liquid than intended into measuring and dispensing chamber. Such handle may be formed by reinforcement of at least one wall of the reservoir to provide sufficient rigidity to prevent squeezing at the reinforcement or by providing a cut-out in the reservoir chamber through which a user's fingers may pass and providing reinforcement on or in one or more walls of the reservoir chamber proximate to the cut out.
Container Data Module for Dispensed Liquid
A data module is adapted for mounting to a liquid container, such as a water bottle, a wine bottle etc., for automatically calculating or monitoring the amount of liquid dispensed from the container. The module employs a pair of metal rings which function as a sensor to activate a timer as liquid passes through an outlet opening. The data may be used to calculate the amount of dispensed liquid and may be either stored at the module and/or may be wirelessly communicated from the module.
