METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MEASURING ENERGY OF NATRURAL GAS IN A FULL CYCLE
The present disclosure provides a method for measuring energy of natural gas in a full cycle, including obtaining a metering value of the natural gas used by a user in a time period based on a metering device, and determining a consumption amount of natural gas based on the metering value and a pricing scheme.
Method for fluid measurement for a discrete area of a fluid supply network
A method for fluid flow measurement for a discrete area of a fluid supply network, where the fluid supply network includes a network of pipes that includes a main pipe for transporting fluid from a source into the fluid supply network for delivery to consumers, wherein the main pipe crosses a boundary between the discrete area and a further area of the fluid supply network, which is outside of the discrete area, and a plurality of distribution pipes each transport fluid from the main pipe to a consumer, where fluid pressure and the fluid consumption on at least two selected key metering points located inside and outside of the discrete area are measured, and where the fluid pressure and the fluid consumption measured on these selected key metering points the fluid flow in the main pipe that crosses the boundary of the discrete area is calculated.
Injection remediation systems and methods
This invention relates generally to injection remediation systems and methods. In one embodiment, an injection remediation system includes, but is not limited to, at least one reservoir configured to contain material; at least one load sensor supporting the at least one reservoir; at least one dosing pump operably coupled to the at least one reservoir and configured to controllably source the material; and at least one processor configured to determine an amount of the material sourced from the at least one reservoir based at least partly on weight information obtained from the at least one load sensor.
ROTOR SYSTEM FOR MEASURING THE FLOW RATE OF A FLUID COMPRISING A LIQUID, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT
A system for measuring a flow rate of a fluid containing liquid includes a body in which the fluid flows, at least one rotor configured to be rotated by the fluid, and a device for measuring a rotation speed of the rotor. The measuring device includes an optical module configured to transmit an incident light radiation on vanes of the rotor, in a direction substantially perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the rotor and receive a reflected light radiation coming from the vanes. The measuring device further includes a conversion module configured to determine the rotation speed of the rotor according to the reflected light radiation and determine the flow rate of the fluid.
Disaggregation of water consumption data
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for identifying one or more water dispensing appliances that are currently using water. In one aspect, the method includes actions of obtaining a dispensing appliance signature, obtaining water consumption data that is based on first sensor data from a first sensor that is installed at the property, identifying a particular water dispensing appliance from among multiple different water dispensing appliances located at the property based on an analysis of (i) the water dispensing appliance signature and (ii) the water consumption data, and responsive to identifying the particular water dispensing appliance located at the property based on an analysis of (i) the water dispensing appliance signature and (ii) the water consumption data, generating output data based on the one or more particular water dispensing appliances that were identified.
Mobile Fuel Measurement System
A mobile fuel monitoring system (MMU) is disclosed. The fuel monitoring system may be skid mounted and is configured to monitor fuel transfers between a fuel source and a vessel, such as a ship. The disclosed MMU is a stand-alone, self-contained unit that can be easily moved from place to place. The MMU is configured to monitor and remotely report custody transfers of fuel performed at any location. Parameters of the fuel transfer operation, such as the amount of fuel transferred, the flow rate, the fuel density, and fuel temperature can be monitored and alarms may be issued if any of the parameters are out of specification. The parameter values may be transmitted to a remote location, for example, via a satellite link.
WATER METERING SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for water metering are disclosed. In one aspect, sensor data can be received from a flexible sensing device fitted to medium that includes a restricted area through which fluid can move over a period of time. At least one of a level of vibration of the medium or a level of audio energy from the medium in the period of time is identified. A flow rate of fluid moving through the restricted area of the medium is determined. An event at a property that receives at least a portion of the fluid moving through the restricted area of the medium is determined. A notification indicating the event at the property is generated.
CONFIGURATION TOOL AND METHOD FOR A QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM
A configuration tool adapted to configure a quality control system to monitor and/or guide an operator in a working environment through recognition of objects, events or an operational process, comprises: a volumetric sensor adapted to capture volumetric image frames of the working environment while an object, event or operational process is demonstrated; a display, coupled to the volumetric sensor and configured to live display the volumetric image frames; and a processor configured to: generate a user interface in overlay of the volumetric image frames to enable a user to define a layout zone; and automatically generate a virtual box in the layout zone when an object, event or operational process is detected during demonstration of the object, event or operational process.
