Milk level measurement device and related measurement method

A device arranged for measuring a level of a liquid in a container. The device has a sensor, arranged to sense a pressure of a liquid in a tube, a pump arranged to pump the liquid from the container through the tube, and a valve located along the tube between the sensor and the pump and arranged to impede back flow of the liquid into the container when the pump stops pumping the liquid. The device is arranged to measure the level of the liquid into the container on the basis of the hydrostatic pressure measured by the sensor after each stop of the pump. Also disclosed is a method for measuring a level of a liquid in a container by a pressure sensor.

Universal device for monitoring and reporting fluid consumption and method using same

A liquid intake tracking device for removable insertion into a beverage container in order to track an amount of liquid consumed, the rate of liquid consumption over time, and to provide alerts to the user. The device connects wirelessly to an application executing on an external electronic device which provides user with liquid consumption data and reports concerning the user's interaction with the beverage container. Methods for tracking liquid intake include disposing such a device within the container, calibrating the device relative to the container by processing pressure readings while the container is in an empty and full state, detecting changes in pressure within the container after the calibration step, in which the pressure is a function of a proportion of amount of liquid within the container at the time of detection, and wirelessly transmitting the measured pressure information to the external electronic device using a wireless communication module.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING SUSPENDED MATTER LOADS CONCENTRATIONS IN A LIQUID

Systems, methods and kits monitor suspended matter loads concentration in a liquid. The systems, methods and kits collect environmental variables, comprising the pressure p at a depth L in said liquid and the liquid depth L at which said pressure p is collected to provide the value of the pressure p0 which is the aerial pressure. The systems, methods and kits further insert said environmental variables in an equation and calculate the suspended matter loads volumetric concentration in the liquid from the absolute pressure p measured at the depth L in the liquid.

COMPENSATED FLUID LEVEL TRANSMITTER

A fluid level transmitter combination for placement on a tank having 2 tank apertures. A first and second flange provides a first, second and third flange aperture over the tank aperture(s). A temperature sensor over the first flange aperture senses a temperature. A first pressure sensor over the second flange aperture senses a first pressure. A second pressure sensor senses a second pressure. A processor is coupled to the output of the second pressure sensor that implements a compensated fluid level determination algorithm using the temperature, first pressure, and second pressure to generate a compensated fluid level measurement for the process fluid. A transmitter is coupled to an output of the processor.

A multi-tank indirect liquid level measurement device and method for wastewater tanks in a recreational vehicle may be implemented using a sealable reservoir that holds pressurized air, a manual piston pump that supplies and/or pressurizes the air in the reservoir, a rotary valve that incorporates a selection disk with an axial passage that is rotationally coupled to a connection disk that has a plurality of pipes, each of which connect on their other end to the wastewater tanks to be gaged. A bourdon tube pressure gage displays the pressure difference between the sealable reservoir and atmospheric pressure, which is an indirect reading of the height of the wastewater in the tank being gaged.

A pressure transducer is modified to serve as a fill-level sensor sending a voltage signal to an analog-to-digital (a2d) converter and a data logger. The digital value of level is then assigned a date-time stamp and stored on a digital data storage medium. The modified pressure transducer is placed in a wet well where continuous fill-level measurements must be accomplished. The digital levels are processed for interpretation of time dependent fill profile.

A cryogenic storage control system and storage device assembly are provided. The cryogenic storage control system may utilize a dual fill level measurement arrangement in which a differential pressure-based fill level determination is compared to a fill level determined from an array of thermistors positioned at varying depths within the cryogenic storage container. Significant disagreement between fill level determinations may result in an alert being generated by a control system. Additionally, various operational processes may be implemented to ensure proper operation including calibration processes, monitoring processes, and maintenance processes.
