COMPRESSED FLUID VESSEL MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Apparatuses and methods for compressed fluid vessel monitoring can permit a user to more easily order replacement vessels, monitor use, monitor inventory and return empty vessels. Embodiments can utilize a collar connectable to a vessel to help facilitate such functionality. The collar can be adapted to transmit signals to a data processing system. The data processing system can be adapted to permit a user to track the location and fill status of the vessel as well as order a replacement vessel and disposal or return of an empty vessel. Instrumented vessels can also convey sensor data to help identify a leak condition or other condition of the vessel. In some embodiments, the data processing system can be adapted for integration into a user's inventory system and/or purchasing system as well as a supplier's system to facilitate communications concerning vessel fill status, reorder, and/or vessel return.
Tank fill control apparatus and method
Tank-installable switches for installation through a thief hatch port on a tank. In some embodiments, the switch may comprise a tubular body and a liquid level sensor. The liquid level sensor may include: a detector; a float in and moveable along a length of the lower end; and a rod connecting the float to the detector. The liquid level sensor may be configured to sense a liquid level relative to the lower end and further configured to generate a signal when at least a maximum selected liquid level is sensed.
Fill level switch arrangement and method for determining the fill level of a medium
A fill level switch arrangement (1) for determining the fill level of a medium (2) in a container (3) and a method for determining the fill level of a medium (2) in a container (3) using a fill level switch arrangement (1). The fill level switch arrangement (1) has at least one alarm threshold that can be implemented in a simplified manner due to the fill level switch arrangement (1) having a transmitting element (4) and a receiving element (5), wherein the transmitting element (4) is used for transmitting a radio signal and is operatively connected to the receiving element (4), wherein the receiving element (5) is configured to detect radio signals, and wherein the receiving element (5) is configured such that it generates and transmits a switching signal in the event of a change in the received radio signal caused by the medium (2).
TANK FILL CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
A tank fill control apparatus comprising: a tank-installed switch, including: a tubular body including an upper end, a lower end, and an annular mounting flange on an outer surface between the upper end and the lower end; a liquid level sensor including a detector, a float in and moveable along a length of the lower end and a rod connecting the float to the detector, the liquid level sensor configured to sense a liquid level relative to the lower end and further configured to generate a signal when at least a maximum selected liquid level is sensed; and a control unit in communication with the tank-installed switch including: a liquid level monitoring function for receiving the signal from the liquid level sensor; and a control function for generating at least one of (i) an alert signal indicating that the maximum selected liquid level is sensed and (ii) a valve control to modify a fill operation from a tank fill system.
Apparatus, system, and method of providing a content level monitor
A consumable level monitoring label apparatus, system and method for physical association with a content-filled consumable to allow for monitoring of a level of the content therein. The apparatus, system and method includes a plurality of labels, each individually manually removable from the label sheet and each comprising: a plurality of electrical conductors forming a sensing module, the sensing module having associated therewith firmware for converting signals associated with the electrical conductors and to an indication of the content level; a communications module for communicating the content level to at least a user display and over at least one network; and a power module for powering at least the sensing module and the communications module. A plurality of perforations are associated with each of the plurality of labels, wherein the plurality of perforations provides for variations in a size of each of the labels upon the manual removal.
