A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR MEASURING INSTANTANEOUS INFLOW RATE OF URINE
The present invention provides a system for measuring instantaneous inflow rate of liquid, comprising: a receptacle, comprising an opening at a top side, a nozzle at a bottom and/or multiple holes on the side section of said receptacle configured to receive the inflow of liquid from said top opening, and simultaneously release said liquid through said nozzles; a sensing device, configured to sense the level of liquid within the receptacle and produce signals indicative of the level of liquid in the receptacle; and a processor, configured to receive said signals, calculate the level of liquid in the receptacle according to said signals; and analyze said calculations, to obtain the instantaneous inflow rate of liquid.
RESISTIVE LIQUID METAL LEVEL SENSING IN A MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC (MHD) JETTING SYSTEM
An implementation of the present teachings includes a resistor structure for measuring a level of a print material such as a liquid metal print material within a reservoir of a printer such as a magnetohydrodynamic printer. The resistor structure includes a first electrode and a second electrode that are physically and electrically separated from each other. When positioned within the reservoir, the liquid metal physically contacts the first electrode and the second electrode. An electrical resistance between the first and second electrodes changes depending on the level of the print material within the reservoir. As the level of the print material decreases, the electrical resistance between the first electrode and the second electrode increases. The electrical resistance can be measured and used to determine a level of the print material within the reservoir.
ELECTRONIC VAPING DEVICE AND VAPOR GENERATING APPARATUS
A flavored vapor generator (100, 200, 300, 400) used for an electronic smoking apparatus (10) comprises a housing; a liquid retention material (155, 255) which is filled, soaked or immersed with a flavored liquid and received inside the housing; an electric heater (150, 350, 450) for heating the liquid retention material (155, 255) to generate flavored vapor; and a sensor (156, 356, 456) for monitoring soaking or wetness conditions of the liquid retention material (155, 255) and providing signals for determining whether the flavored liquid in the liquid retention material (155, 255) is exhausted or almost exhausted.
LOW LEVEL WATER SENSOR AND METHOD OF USE
A low level water sensor and method of use in, e.g., mitigating acidic corrosion in a fuel storage tank is disclosed.
HYDROPONICS WATER LEVEL INDICATOR
A submersible member can include an elongated body defining an outer body surface, the body defining a top end and a bottom end; a base electrode extending through the outer body surface; a first conductive member extending through the body from the top end to the base electrode, the first conductive member connected in electrical communication with the base electrode; an indicator electrode extending through the outer body surface, the indicator electrode positioned between the top end and the base electrode; and a second conductive member extending through the body from the top end to the indicator electrode, the second conductive member connected in electrical communication with the indicator electrode.
SENSING RODS WITH TIPS FOR FLUID DETECTION
An example of an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a a current source. The apparatus includes a conductor in electrical communication with the current source and a conductive fluid in a reservoir. The apparatus includes a first sensing rod to extend into the reservoir, wherein the first sensing rod has a first diameter. The apparatus includes a tip disposed at an end of the first sensing rod to interact with a surface of the conductive fluid. The tip has a second diameter over a first portion of the tip adjacent to the first sensing rod. The second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. The apparatus includes a sensor to detect an electrical signal between the conductor and the first sensing rod.
Hygienic tube adapter
A tube adapter for a pipeline for conveying a medium includes a pipeline section having a tubular, first channel for inserting the pipeline section into the pipeline, and a tubular, second channel, which is arranged at a first predeterminable angle to the first channel and connected with the first channel. In a transition region between a wall of the first and a wall of the second channel, at least one hollow is present in a wall of the first and/or second channel. The present disclosure further includes an arrangement having a measuring device and a tube adapter according to the present disclosure as well as to a method for producing a tube adapter according to the present disclosure.
Electrical heater with particular application to humidification and fluid warming
A humidifier tub for a respiratory apparatus is configured to deliver pressurized breathable gas to a patient's airways. The humidifier tub includes a base and a side wall defining a reservoir for containing a supply of liquid to be evaporated. In addition, the container is made of a first material. The humidifier tub also includes a heating element provided inside the container and covered by a layer. The layer includes a second material different from the first material.
Water-based liquid supply system
Kitchen appliances usually include devices such as a water system, a cooker, a kitchen hood (range hood), an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher and other devices. The devices are mostly operated independent from each other. Unlike those devices the “drinkable tap water-based liquid supply system” according to the present invention comprises a few devices controlled by an advanced control system according to the invention for providing connectivity and system management. The system is designed to provide comfort, convenience and energy saving. The water-based liquid supply system according to the present invention provides a variety of water-based liquids, dispatched with the desired properties from a countertop faucet.
Drop test measuring system and method(s) of use thereof
A drop test measuring system and method of use is described. Embodiments of the drop test measuring system can include, but is not limited to, a control module, a liquid level measuring device, and a remotely located smart device. The liquid level measuring device can be implemented to take measurements that can allow a smart device to calculate a liquid level based on the measurements in addition to other known parameters. Typically, the drop test measuring system can be implemented in a water treatment facility implementing a filter medium.
