LIQUID LEVEL INDICATING
Examples provide a series of heaters supported at different depths within the volume. A series of temperature sensors is supported at different depths within the volume. The temperature sensors output signals indicative of dissipation of heat from the heaters to indicate a level of the liquid within the volume.
Sensor system and integrated heater-sensor for measuring and controlling performance of a heater system
A heater system includes an integrated heater device and a control system. The integrated heater device includes a thermocouple for measuring temperature and one or more multiportion resistive elements that are operable as heaters to create a temperature differential between the fluid and air to detect the fluid, and as sensors to measure a fluid level. The control device operates the integrated heater device as a sensor or heater based on one or more performance characteristics of the heater system and self-calibrates the heater device.
DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING AVAILABLE TRAVEL DISTANCE OF VEHICLE
A display device also includes an available amount-of-fuel calculator for calculating an available amount of fuel, an average mileage calculator for calculating an average mileage from a consumed amount of fuel and a vehicle's traveled distance, an available travel distance calculator for calculating an available travel distance from the available amount of fuel and the average mileage, and a display unit for displaying the available travel distance. The available amount-of-fuel calculator uses a learned value based on outputs as a corrective value for correcting the output of a second sensor when the calculation of the available amount of fuel switches from being based on the output of the second sensor to being based on the output of a first sensor.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REFILLING CRYOGEN IN MICROSCOPE CRYOGEN HOLDERS
A cryogen refilling system includes a reservoir assembly for holding cryogen and a delivery channel in fluid communication with the reservoir assembly for delivering cryogen from the reservoir assembly to a microscope cryogen holder. The delivery channel includes at least one control valve. The system also includes a sensor-lid assembly and a controller. The sensor-lid assembly includes a sensor assembly configured to detect a level of cryogen in the microscope cryogen holder. The controller is configured to receive sensor data from the sensor assembly, analyze the sensor data to determine whether the microscope cryogen holder requires refilling, and in response to determining that the microscope cryogen holder requires refilling, cause a valve control mechanism to open the at least one control valve of the delivery channel.
IMMERSION DETECTOR AND AN AIRCRAFT
An immersion detector having a thermoresistive detector with at least two temperature probes. The immersion device has a capacitive detector having a capacitor, a cap surrounding said temperature probes and the capacitor, said cap having orifices putting said temperature probes and the capacitor into fluid flow communication with an external medium (EXT) surrounding said immersion detector.
SENSING CHARACTERISTICS AND A TYPE OF FLUID USING A TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT RATE OF CHANGE OF A MEASUREMENT OF THE FLUID
A system for sensing characteristics of a fluid contained within a tank. The system including an ultrasonic sensor, a temperature sensor, and a controller. The ultrasonic sensor is configured to output a ultrasonic pulse into the fluid, receive an echo of the ultrasonic pulse, and output a signal based on the received echo. The temperature sensor is configured to sense a temperature of the fluid and output a temperature signal corresponding to the temperature of the fluid. The controller is configured to determine a time-of-flight based on the output of the ultrasonic pulse and the received echo of the ultrasonic pulse, receive the temperature signal, determine a characteristic of the fluid based on the time-of-flight and the temperature signal, compare the characteristic of the fluid to a baseline characteristic, and output a signal based on the comparison between the characteristic of the fluid and the baseline characteristic.
ELECTRONIC FLUID LEVEL INDICATOR
An electronic fuel level indicator includes an elongated circuit board containing multiple elongated slots separated by a land segment of the circuit board, and an elongated wire spanning across the slots and being clamped to the land segment. Another aspect provides at least one elongated polymeric and/or insulating cover retained against a circuit board and a portion of the wire solely by insertion of the circuit board and cover within an elongated hollow tube through which fluid may flow. A method of assembling an electronic fluid level indicator is also provided.
Liquid level detection device and refrigeration cycle
A liquid level detection device at least includes a heating member that heats a container, a temperature measurement element disposed on a side of the heating member opposite to the container, a thermal conductor disposed between the heating member and the container, an elastic body that presses the heating member with a certain amount of force, a terminals for supplying power to the heating member, a fixture that covers the heating member, the temperature measurement element, the thermal conductor, the elastic body and the terminals and mount those on the container, wherein the heating member does not come into contact with the terminals when at least one of the thermal conductor and the fixture is inappropriately mounted on a container.
Fill-level measuring device for a laboratory cabinet device
The invention relates to a fill-level measuring device for a laboratory cabinet device, for measuring a fill-level in a liquid container in the interior of the laboratory cabinet device, which detects the fill-level by comparing the measurement of two NTC temperature sensors, the first of which is arranged in the air of the interior and the second in the liquid of the liquid container.
Automated analysis of drilling fluid
A system includes a fluid conduit, a fluid chamber in communication with the fluid conduit, a rheology sensor in communication with the fluid chamber, and an electric temperature controller in communication with the fluid chamber. The fluid chamber is cooled or heated in response to a first control signal from the electric temperature controller.
