A logic circuitry package for a replaceable print apparatus component includes an interface to communicate with a print apparatus logic circuit, and at least one logic circuit to transmit, via the interface, a sensor ID parameter and a limit parameter, the sensor ID parameter indicating a first sensor ID. The logic circuit is to receive, via the interface, a first request corresponding to the first sensor ID with the component connected to the apparatus and the apparatus not pneumatically actuating the component. The logic circuit is to transmit, via the interface, a first digital value in response to the first request. The logic circuit is to receive, via the interface, a second request corresponding to the first sensor ID with the component connected to the apparatus and the apparatus pneumatically actuating the component. The logic circuit is to transmit, via the interface, a second digital value in response to the second request. A difference between the first digital value and the second digital value is greater than the limit parameter.
POOL CONDITION MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the present invention provide a pool condition monitoring device (50) comprising a hermetically sealable housing (52) having a floor (54) defining a lower external surface (56) of the housing. A sensing probe (60) depends from the lower external surface of the housing, for immersion in water (18) in the pool along a part of the length of the probe. An electronic circuit (7) and power source is within the housing, the electronic circuit including a telemetry device (120), suitable to connect the device to a remote system via a local area wireless network or a mobile telephone station. The sensing probe (60) is adapted to return a value to the electronic circuit depending on the degree of immersion of the probe in water, and thereby to indicate a fill level of the pool. The probe is sized to pass through a circular hole (40) of less than 3 cm in diameter in a lid (26) of a pool overspill sump (22), whereby the device can be supported by the lower external surface of the housing on the lid. The sump (22) is arranged with respect to the pool such that water in the sump is at the level (20) of water in the pool, the sump including a drain (38) from which water may be drawn for cleaning purposes and return elsewhere to the pool.
WIRELESS DRINK CONTAINER FOR MONITORING HYDRATION
A wireless drink container can monitor a person's hydration and prompt him or her to drink more if appropriate. The drink containers as described herein can monitor liquid levels and communicate with external devices about the liquid levels and rate of consumption. One or more sensors in the drink container monitor the liquid level within the container. A processor coupled to the sensor(s) estimates how much liquid has been removed from the container from changes in the liquid level and transmits a signal representing the change in liquid level to a smartphone or other external device. It also triggers an audio or visual indicator, such as an LED, that prompts the user to drink more based on the user's estimated liquid consumption and on the user's liquid consumption goals, which may be based on the user's physiology, activity level, and location.
LIQUID HANDLING SYSTEM MONITORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A monitoring system for monitoring a liquid handling system may comprise at least one liquid level sensor and/or at least one gateway computer. The at least one liquid level sensor may be configured to monitor at least one liquid level of at least one liquid handling element. The at least one gateway computer may be in communication with the at least one liquid level sensor. The at least one gateway computer may be configured to receive sensor readings, report information describing the readings, identify at least one rule-triggering event, and perform an action in response to identifying the at least one rule-triggering event in accordance with at least one rule.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING VEHICLE FUEL LEVEL
Described herein is a computer-implemented method for estimating a true fuel level of a vehicle. The method comprises: accessing an estimate as to a current state of the vehicle, the current state of the vehicle comprising a current fuel level state; predicting the state of the vehicle at a future time based on the current state of the vehicle; accessing a measured state of the vehicle based on sensor data; estimating a true state of the vehicle based on the predicted state of the vehicle and the measured state of the vehicle, the true state of the vehicle comprising an estimate as to the true fuel level of the vehicle; and outputting the estimated true fuel level of the vehicle.
LEVEL METER FOR LEVEL LIMIT DETERMINATION AND FOR MEASURING AN IMPEDANCE OF A FILLING MATERIAL
A level measuring device for level and/or limit determination and for measuring an impedance of a filling material is provided. The level measuring device comprises a measuring probe, arranged for measuring the impedance of the filling material. Further comprising a signal generation unit, arranged for generating a first frequency signal with variable frequency, wherein the measuring probe is supplied with the first frequency signal and outputs a measuring signal. Further, a measurement converter arranged to convert the measurement signal into a mixed signal, wherein the mixed signal has a phase difference with respect to the first frequency signal. Furthermore, the level measuring device comprises a phase difference measuring unit, which is arranged to determine an amplitude-phase characteristic of the filling material measured by the measuring probe, by means of the phase and amplitude difference between the first frequency signal and the mixed signal.
