Weighing and mixing system
The invention is a weighing and mixing system for the preparation of mixtures of components required by processing machines for the manufacture of plastic products. In particular the invention is suitable for the preparation of weighed mixtures comprised of at least two different masterbatches in order to obtain the color shade desired for a specific plastic product.
Bad water discharge for weighing systems
A bad water discharge system for a weighing system, wherein the weighing system comprises a distribution plate, at least one feeding device; at least one reserve container, at least one weighing container and at least one collection funnel, wherein the at least one reserve container and the at least one weighing container are fixed to a cage and the at least one collection funnel is fixed to a frame. For the bad water discharge system, at least one feeding device discharge plate is disposed at a lower side of the feeding device so that it leads bad water away from at least one reserve container to a sidewall of the cage, and so that the bad water originating from an upper side of the cage and from the lower side of the feeding device is bundled into one flow and is collected below the cage in suitable collection devices.
Multihead weigher and weighing method
A multihead weigher that includes a feeder plate for receiving a product supply that has at least one feed outlet at an inner edge of the annular feeder plate. A plurality of staging hoppers is located beneath the outlet of the annular feeder plate. Each staging hopper has a staging inlet and a staging outlet. The staging inlet is located for receiving product from the annular feeder plate. A plurality of weigh hoppers are located beneath the plurality of staging hoppers. Each weigh hopper has an inlet and an outlet. The weigh hopper inlet is located beneath a respective staging outlet; and a collector is located beneath the weigh hoppers for receiving product from the weigh hopper outlets. The collector has a tubular element for receiving a weighed batch of the product from one or more weigh hoppers and the tubular element has a lower dispensing outlet.
Method of filling a weighing container for plastics granulate
The method of filling a weighing container (10) for plastics granulate (12), wherein the granulate is dropped from a supply tube (26) into the weighing container (10) via a shutter (22), wherein the weighing container (10) is closed-off on the top side by a wall having a conical part (16) that reaches directly up the shutter (22), and in that the weighing container is filled with granulate up to the level of the shutter (22).
Train Load-Out Arrangement
A train load-out arrangement having a hopper for operatively containing particulate material and includes a discharge chute with a controllable gate or valve via which the material is operatively dischargeable into ore wagons of a rail. The arrangement includes a first track scale arranged on the track distal from the discharge chute, as well as a second track scale arranged on the track directly underneath the discharge chute. Arrangement also includes a controller arranged in signal communication with the gate and track scales and configured to determine a first wagon axle weight-displacement profile via the first track scale and a second wagon axle weight-displacement profile via the second track scale as material is discharged into a wagon, and compare said first and second wagon axle weight-displacement profiles to produce a real-time noise-compensated wagon axle weight-displacement profile.
METERED FOOD DISPENSER WITH BI-DIRECTIONAL DISPENSING DRUM MOVEMENT TO REDUCE PRODUCT BRIDGING
A product dispenser, preferably for frozen food product, having a storage hopper, a rotatable drum having paddles on a periphery thereof located at a bottom of the storage hopper, and a drive motor connected to the rotatable drum. Rotation of the drum causes the product to be delivered to a weighing/dispensing assembly having a load cell and one or more dump doors on which product to be dispensed accumulates. A controller is configured to actuate the drive motor to rotate the rotatable drum in a first rotational direction at a start of a dispensing cycle, and to then actuate the drive motor to rotate the rotatable drum in a second rotational direction, opposite to the first rotational direction in a next dispensing cycle. Within a dispensing cycle, the controller can also monitor a drive motor current draw, and reverse the drive motor if a current limit is exceeded.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO MONITOR A RESERVOIR OR A STRUCTURE
A method and apparatus to monitor the weight of a silo or tank is disclosed. The system is adapted to be attached to a leg of the silo and comprises a load cell, a support member anchored to the ground and a lifting device attached to the load cell and to the support member. The load cell comprises two extremities that are attached to the silo leg and comprises an aperture there between. The aperture is preferably threaded to receive the lifting device, such as a bolt. The bolt is rotated using a tool as to induce a movement of the load cell along the axis of the bolt thereby lifting the load cell and the attached silo leg. Strain gauges are attached to the load cell to measure the variation in an electric or optical signal that is translated in human readable data using a monitoring device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FILLING BULK MATERIALS INTO A CONTAINER
A system and method for dispensing a powdered pharmaceutical into a bottle is disclosed. The system includes a filler having a powder filler head and respective weight sensor, two or more draft shields, and one or more static reduction devices. In some embodiments, the system also includes one or more dust extractors. In some embodiments, the static reduction device is an active static reduction device, such as one or more static bars. The two or more draft shields may include an inner draft shield to reduce small pressure and/or airflow changes and an outer draft to reduce large pressure and/or airflow changes.
HOPPER AND COMBINATION WEIGHING DEVICE EQUIPPED THEREWITH
The hopper body has a third sidewall and a fourth sidewall that face each other in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and that connect between the first sidewall and the second sidewall, and a first corner portion adjacent to the distal end portion of the trough in the third sidewall and a second corner portion adjacent to the distal end portion of the trough in the fourth sidewall are bent in direction away from the distal end portion of the trough and also a first edge portion adjacent to the distal end portion of the trough in the first corner portion and a second edge portion adjacent to the distal end portion of the trough in the second corner portion are bent in direction closer to the distal end portion of the trough.
