Weight measuring shovel
Described herein is a weight or pressure measuring shovel. The shoveling apparatus has a broad blade assembly or scoop assembly including an elongate handle member. A coupler assembly is designed to couple the curved plate assembly to allow angular orientation or movement of the curved plate assembly to be adjusted relative to the handle member. A force transducer converts the weight or pressure of a material on the curved plate assembly into an electrical signal designed to communicate the weight or pressure of a material such as snow, sand, dirt, or ice. A control module in a housing mounted on the elongate handle is designed to receive electrical signals from the force transducer assembly or a load cell assembly. A display assembly is coupled to the electrical scale assembly and control module.

A system with a first weighing scale apparatus, wherein said first weighing scale apparatus is configured to measure a body weight when said first weighing scale is facing upward and a second weighing scale apparatus, wherein said second weighing scale apparatus is configured to measure an amount of food when said second weighing scale apparatus is facing upward and said first weighing scale apparatus is facing downward. A platform is configured to perform a weight control function. A user interface of the platform is configured to display and accept information. An action button is configured to indicate whether body or food is to be weighed, and a comment section is configured to display a preset alert notification of a status of said weighing scale device.
Smart container with interactive, colored lights
A smart container that includes a bottle or other container, a load cell, an accelerometer, a processor, and a colored light source. The container may be a liquid container, a pill container, or a food container. The colored light source may include one or more light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which can be programed to emit unique illumination patterns. The container may also include a speaker or motor to emit audio and vibrational notifications. The container provides a method of tracking consumption by a user of a substance held in a container.
BREW ASSIST SCALE
An apparatus configured to assist with beverage preparation can include a main body having an outer housing, a weigh pan coupled to the main body, one or more user input components and a display component disposed at the outer housing, and a processor disposed within the main body. The weigh pan can support beverage components to be weighed, the user input components can accept user inputs regarding desired settings for beverage preparation, and the display component can display outputs regarding weights detected on the weigh pan The processor can facilitate automatically detecting the weight of ground coffee placed atop the weigh pan, determining a water target weight based on the detected ground coffee weight and a water ratio setting, detecting the water target weight being reached while water is being poured over the ground coffee, and providing output to a user when the water target weight is reached.
Kitchen Scale
The invention relates to a kitchen scale comprising a carrying plate (1), a substructure (2) supporting the carrying plate, weighing cells (6) comprising at least one strain gauge (10), an electronics unit (4), which is capable of computing the weight of the load, and comprising a display device for displaying the ascertained weight and a battery compartment for accommodating a voltage source which supplies the electronics unit (4) with power. The weighing cell (6) has at least one strain gauge, which is at least partially provided with a parylene coating.
Monolithic weighing system
A monolithic weighing system including a base (12), a load holder (26), which is articulated on the base (12) through a parallel link arrangement (16, 20), and a lever (28), which is articulated on the load holder (26) and which has an attachment point for a force compensating arrangement and a target area (32) for an optical position sensor (34). The target area (32) has a slotted diaphragm (36) in a thin walled lever section of the lever (28) in the deflection plane thereof. A position sensor pedestal (38a, b), which is integrally connected to the base (12), is arranged laterally adjacent to the target area (32). The position sensor pedestal has a pedestal aperture (40a, b), which extends perpendicularly to the deflection plane. The slotted diaphragm (36) of the target area (32) is laser-machined through the pedestal aperture (40a, b).

The improved portable wax warming appliance can accurately show and communicate the amount, the consistency and the temperature of wax contained in the warming pot. The wax warming appliance can be preset to a variety of temperatures to accommodate different types of wax or set to a cleaning mode temperature. The wax warming appliance includes a holder to safely hold the appliance's hot lid while the user is in the process of removing or adding wax.
