The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a housing including a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a fluid delivery system, and a recovery system. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to clean multiple surfaces, including hard and soft surfaces, and for different cleaning modes, including wet cleaning, dry vacuum cleaning, and self-cleaning. Methods for self-cleaning a surface cleaning apparatus are also provided.

Methods and software for setting parameters for operating a modular robot are disclosed. One method includes receiving, by a server, communications data from a controller of the modular robot. The modular robot has storage for storing program instructions for executing autonomous movement at a location. The method includes sending, by the server, an initial outline for the controller to generate calibrated mapping data for the location. The calibrated mapping data identifies an outline at the location. The method includes sending, by the server, identification of at least two zones at the location, where the at least two zones define different areas at the location. The controller of the modular robot is configured to use the calibrated mapping data for said autonomous movement at the location and the controller is configured to operate a respective work function in each of the at least two zones.

A cleaning mechanism is installed on a cleaning device. The cleaning mechanism is used to clean a work area under control of the cleaning device. A cleaning control method for the cleaning mechanism includes: obtaining a cleaning start time of the cleaning device; obtaining a cleaning duration of the cleaning mechanism; determining a cleaning time of the cleaning mechanism based on the cleaning start time and the cleaning duration, the cleaning time being before the cleaning start time; and controlling the cleaning device to clean the cleaning mechanism when the time reaches the cleaning time. A cleaning control apparatus and a computer-readable storage medium are also disclosed.

A battery replacement system is configured to move a spare battery to an automatic guided vehicle. The battery replacement system includes a charging stand and a carrier. The charging stand includes a base and a plurality of supporting seat. The supporting seats are pivotably disposed on the base and configured to support the spare battery. The carrier includes a frame and a clamping component. The frame is located aside the charging stand. The clamping component is movably disposed on the frame and configured to replace a vehicle battery on the automatic guided vehicle with the spare battery.

A portable cleaner has a recovery tank, including a container for receiving and storing recovered liquid and/or dirt and an openable tank lid for covering the container. The container and the tank lid are removable from the cleaner as a unit. The portable cleaner also has a main housing configured to removably support the recovery tank in a vertical orientation in which the tank lid at least partially defines a top side of the portable cleaner. In addition, a tank latch is provided in the tank lid, the tank latch configured to selectively secure and release the tank lid to the main housing when the recovery tank is supported by the main housing.

A floor washing machine includes a handle assembly; a control unit provided at the handle assembly; a power supply unit electrically connected to the control unit; a rod assembly connected to the handle assembly; a base assembly connected to a lower portion of the rod assembly; a sweeping/scrubbing assembly provided at the base assembly and having a motor controlled by the control unit and a scrubbing roller to be driven into forward or reverse rotation by the motor; and a water supply assembly having a water outlet pipe, wherein the water outlet pipe has a water outlet opening and can be rotated in order to point the water outlet opening to a forward-of-roller direction or a rearward-of-roller direction of the sweeping/scrubbing assembly.

A surface cleaning head is provided having a casing with a rotatably mounted cleaning brush associated with a brush opening and a drying roller operable in a drying mode. In the drying mode, the drying roller removes water from the rotatably mounted cleaning brush. The surface cleaning head also has a water collection container positioned to receive water removed from the rotatably mounted cleaning brush by the drying roller.

A cleaning device comprises a handle (14) and a cleaning head (12) which is movable on a surface to be cleaned, wherein said cleaning head (12) comprises at least one rotatable cleaning roller (16, 18) and a first lip element (22) arranged adjacent to a first suction gutter (32) which can be subjected to negative pressure by means of a suction pump (44), and said cleaning head (12) comprises a second lip element (24) arranged adjacent to a second suction gutter (32) which can be subjected to negative pressure by means of the suction pump (44). The first lip element (22) and the second lip element (24) are each movable between a raised position and a lowered position, and the handle (14) is pivotable such that in a first position of said handle (14) relative to the cleaning head (12), the first lip element (22) is in the lowered position and the second lip element (24) is in the raised position, and in the second position of said handle (14) relative to the cleaning head (12), the first lip element (22) is in the raised position and the second lip element (24) is in the lowered position.
