The supply tank having an inlet opening defining an inlet opening width and a fluid disposed therein. A water soluble package includes a cleaning solution disposed therein and is inserted within the supply tank to combine with the fluid disposed therein to form a cleaning fluid. A distribution nozzle is in communication with the supply tank and disperses the cleaning fluid towards a ground surface. The package has an unfolded dimension defined by a first width that is larger than the inlet width, a height defined orthogonal to the first width, and a thickness defined orthogonal to the first width and the height. The package folds from the unfolded dimension to a compact size having a folded dimension defined by a second width that is smaller than the inlet opening width.

Self-cleaning features for extraction cleaners and attachments for extraction cleaners, such as accessory tools, wands, and/or hoses, are provided. The self-cleaning features are configured redirect cleaning fluid from a fluid supply system of the extraction cleaner into a working air or fluid recovery path of the extraction cleaner, including, but not limited to into the working air or fluid recovery path of a tool, wand, and/or hose of the extraction cleaner.

The present disclosure discloses a cleaning robot, including a housing, a receiving tank, and a liquid storage tank. The housing is provided with a first groove and a second groove spaced apart from each other. The receiving tank is located in the first groove and configured to receive dirt. The liquid storage tank is located in the second groove and configured to store a cleaning liquid. In the cleaning robot of the present disclosure, the receiving tank and the liquid storage tank are arranged separately and spaced apart from each other, such that the volume of the liquid storage tank is increased, thereby allowing a larger area to be cleaned with a tank of water stored.

An autonomous floor cleaner or floor cleaning robot can include an autonomously moveable housing and a drive system for autonomously moving the autonomously moveable housing over a surface to be cleaned based on inputs from a controller. A brush chamber and a debris receptacle can be formed as a unitary assembly removable from the autonomously moveable housing.

An autonomous floor cleaner can include a housing, a drive system for autonomously moving the housing over the surface to be cleaned, a controller for controlling the operation of the autonomous floor cleaner, and warning system for issuing a warning based on the detection of moisture inside the robot. Methods for issuing a warning are disclosed.

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a recovery tank, a suction nozzle in fluid communication with the recovery tank, and a suction source in fluid communication with the suction nozzle and the recovery tank to generate a working air path to transport debris-containing fluid including air and liquid from the suction nozzle into the recovery tank. An air/liquid separator can be provided within the recovery tank for separating liquid from air in the debris-containing fluid.

An extraction cleaner for a floor surface includes an extraction nozzle. The extraction nozzle that defines a fluid flow path having an elongated nozzle opening, and includes one or more stiffening elements that stiffens the walls around the nozzle opening to prevent collapsing or deformation of the extraction nozzle during use.

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes task lighting. The task lighting can be provided on a hand-carried body or housing of the surface cleaning apparatus. Power to the task lighting can be controlled by a switch. The task lighting can be adjustable relative to the hand-carried body, and can be directed to illuminate a desired location.
