The multispectral filter may include a spacer disposed on the first metal mirror. The spacer may include a set of layers. The spacer may include a second metal mirror disposed on the spacer. Disclosed are systems, devices and methods for imaging and image-based sorting of particles in a flow system, including cells in a flow cytometer. In some aspects, a system includes a particle flow device to flow particles through a channel, an imaging system to obtain image data of a particle during flow through the channel, a processing unit to determine a property associated with the particle and to produce a control command for sorting the particle based on sorting criteria associated with particle properties, and an actuator to direct the particle into one of a plurality of output paths of the particle flow device in real-time.
Microscope With Pre-Aligned Conditioning Optics
A microscope for examining a specimen configured to receive a first light source or a second light source. The first light source being configured to emit a first output light through a first pupil, and the second light source being configured to emit a second output light through a second pupil that is different than the first pupil. The microscope comprises a frame, a source objective, and first and second optical assemblies. The first and second optical assemblies are removably connectable to the frame. The first optical assembly comprises a first set of optical elements that are configured to pass the first output light to an imaging pupil of the source objective, and the second optical assembly comprises a second set of optical elements configured to pass the second output light to the imaging pupil.

Provided are systems and methods related to hybrid reflective microscope objectives and lens systems used in a spectroscopy system. The objective lens system includes a primary aspheric mirror having a first R-value; and a secondary aspheric mirror having a second R-value smaller than the first R-value, where in the objective lens system has a working distance of at least 20 mm and a numerical aperture of 0.29-0.65, and wherein surfaces of the primary and secondary aspheric mirrors have a non-zero sixth order aspheric parameter.

A processing apparatus combines a plurality of images based on a plurality of object images formed on an imaging plane of an image sensor by a plurality of lens units and to generate a combined image, and includes at least one processor or circuit that serves as an acquisition task configured to acquire information on a center position of each of the plurality of object images on the imaging plane, information on a correspondence relationship between the center position and positions of the plurality of images in the combined image, and conversion information for converting a first coordinate system in the imaging plane into a second coordinate system in the combined image, the conversion information being generated based on a correction function for correcting the plurality of object images, and a processing task configured to generate the combined image using the conversion information.
Identification apparatus and sorting system
An identification apparatus includes: a plurality of light capturing units including light-capturing optical systems configured to capture a plurality of Raman scattered light fluxes from a sample, an optical fiber unit configured to include a plurality of optical fibers configured to respectively guide the captured Raman scattered light fluxes and in which the optical fibers are bundled at emission end portions thereof; a spectral element configured to disperse the guided Raman scattered light fluxes; an imaging unit configured to receive the dispersed Raman scattered light fluxes; and a data processor configured to acquire spectral data of the Raman scattered light fluxes from the imaging unit and configured to perform an identification process. The Raman scattered light fluxes dispersed by the spectral element are projected so that a spectral image formed on a light-receiving surface of the imaging unit extends along a main scanning direction of the imaging unit.
Spectral analysis device
A spectral analysis device is provided herein. The spectral analysis device includes a first lens, a transmission grating, a lens set and a sensing element. The first lens is configured to receive and converge an incident light beam into a first light beam. The transmission grating is configured to disperse the first light beam into a plurality of second light beams. The lens set is configured to receive the plurality of second light beams. The sensing element includes a substrate and a plurality of pixels. The plurality of pixels is configured to respectively receive the plurality of second light beam. Such structure is used to analyze the spectrum of incident light.
OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY DEVICE AND SYSTEM
An optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan device includes an OCT scan device housing, an interferometer disposed within the OCT scan device housing and including a light source, a fiber optic coupler including an interferometer output, a reference-arm, and a sample-arm. The OCT scan device further includes a power source configured to provide power to the light source and the remaining components of the OCT scan device, and a controller disposed within the OCT scan device housing and configured to adjust lens focusing parameters in the reference-arm and the sample-arm, and control a scanning function of an optical beam emitting from the sample-arm. The OCT scan device is further configured to transmit and receive control instructions and transmit fundus image data.

PHOTON COUNTING AND MULTI-SPOT SPECTROSCOPY
An example system can include a support and two or more sensor elements mounted to the support. Each sensor element can be electrically connected to a common electrical node and may include: a respective quench resistor connected to a respective internal node; and a respective photodiode (PD) connected to the respective internal node; a differentiating element fed by at least one of the photodiodes; a first readout electrode fed by the common electrical node; and a second readout electrode fed by the differentiating element. The common electrical node may be connected to at least one of the quench resistors or at least one of the photodiodes.
