Spectral-spatial imaging device
In general, an imaging system to synchronously record a spatial image and a spectral image of a portion of the spatial image is described. In some examples, a beam splitter of the imaging system splits an optical beam, obtained from a viewing device, into a first split beam directed by the imaging system to a spatial camera and a second split beam directed by the imaging system to the entrance slit of an imaging spectrograph that is coupled to a spectral camera. An electronic apparatus synchronously triggers the spatial camera and the spectral camera to synchronously record a spatial image and a spectral image, respectively.
Confocal measuring apparatus
A confocal measuring apparatus (1) includes a light source (10), an optical system (30) configured to receive reflected light from a measurement surface, a light guide part (20) into which a plurality of cores including a first core (26) and a second core (28) is built and configured to propagate the reflected light by the plurality of cores, a displacement amount measurement part (40) including a spectroscope (42) configured to separate the reflected light propagated by the first core into each wavelength components and a detector (44) having a plurality of light receiving elements arranged to correspond to a spectral direction by the spectroscope, and a peripheral image measurement part (60) configured to form an image of the reflected light propagated by the second core on the plurality of image pickup elements and to generate a peripheral image with respect to a measurement position of the measurement surface.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING TEAR FILM STRUCTURE MEASUREMENT
Apparatus and methods are described for performing tear film structure measurement on a tear film of an eye of a subject. A broadband light source (100) is configured to generate broadband light. A spectrometer (250) is configured to measure a spectrum of light of the broadband light that is reflected from at least one spot on the tear film, the spot having a diameter of between 100 microns and 240 microns. A computer processor (28) is coupled to the spectrometer and configured to determine a characteristic of the tear film based upon the spectrum of light measured by the spectrometer. Other applications are also described.
Systems, Devices, and Methods for Hyperspectral Imaging
A technology is described for hyperspectral imaging. An example of the technology can include receiving an event stream of events from an event camera coupled to an interferometer. The event camera can receive light output from the interferometer and generate the event stream, comprising event data that corresponds to the light output. The events in the event stream can indicate a pixel that detected an event, a time of the event, and a polarity of change in brightness detected by the pixel. Spectral data can be generated for the events in the event stream using a demodulation and frequency transform to convert temporospatial aggregates of events in the event stream to frequency domain data that corresponds to an optical spectrum. A hyperspectral image of an input scene in a spectral range can be generated using the spectral data.
Multispectral synchronized imaging
A multispectral synchronized imaging system is provided. A multispectral light source of the system comprises: blue, green and red LEDs, and one or more non-visible light sources, each being independently addressable and configured to emit, in a sequence: at least visible white light, and non-visible light in one or more given non-visible frequency ranges. The system further comprises a camera and an optical filter arranged to filter light received at the camera, by: transmitting visible light from the LEDs; filter out non-visible light from the non-visible light sources; and otherwise transmit excited light emitted by a tissue sample excited by non-visible light. Images acquired by the camera are output to a display device. A control unit synchronizes acquisition of respective images at the camera for each of blue light, green light, visible white light, and excited light received at the camera, as reflected by the tissue sample.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTICAL METROLOGY
Abstract: Systems and methods for metrology of workpieces such as wafers, using spectrometry of multi- spot- arrays formed over a test area of the tester workpiece, for optically measuring characteristics of the tested workpiece, where the optical metrology system is configured such that the distribution of energy density or flux of the multi-spot-array over the test area of the tested workpiece is such that prevents affecting the workpiece during its testing.
