TRAY AND CLEANING APPARATUS SYSTEM

Provided are a tray and a cleaning apparatus system. The tray includes: a tray body, where a roller brush accommodation region is arranged on an outer surface of the tray body, and a mounting cavity is provided in the tray body; and a drying unit, where the drying unit is mounted in the mounting cavity, and the drying unit runs to perform drying treatment on the roller brush accommodation region and an object in the roller brush accommodation region. The tray may be used with a cleaning machine. When the cleaning machine is disposed on the tray, a roller brush on the cleaning machine is located in the roller brush accommodation region, and the drying unit runs to perform drying treatment on the roller brush accommodation region and the object in the roller brush accommodation region.

WET DRY APPLIANCE

A cleaning device and methods for cleaning are provided. In one embodiment, the cleaning device includes a head assembly, a body assembly, and a handle assembly. The cleaning device also includes components that enable the cleaning device to operate in dry cleaning modes and wet cleaning modes. Dry cleaning modes can employ a vacuum assembly, including a motor, tubing, and a fluid recovery tank in order to draw in debris and waste into a fluid recovery tank. Wet cleaning modes can further employ a fluid supply tank, a pump, and tubing in order to supply fluid to a brushroll to aid in a cleaning process.

Autonomous coverage robot

A surface treatment robot includes a chassis having forward and rear ends and a drive system carried by the chassis. The drive system includes right and left driven wheels and is configured to maneuver the robot over a cleaning surface. The robot includes a vacuum assembly, a collection volume, a supply volume, an applicator, and a wetting element, each carried by the chassis. The wetting element engages the cleaning surface to distribute a cleaning liquid applied to the surface by the applicator. The wetting element distributes the cleaning liquid along at least a portion of the cleaning surface when the robot is driven in a forward direction. The wetting element is arranged substantially forward of a transverse axis defined by the right and left driven wheels, and the wetting element slidably supports at least about ten percent of the mass of the robot above the cleaning surface.
