A floor cleaning machine for cleaning a floor surface includes a recovery tank having an inlet conduit and a flow divider. The flow divider includes a divider inlet in downstream fluid communication with the inlet conduit. The flow divider divides the flow into at least two separate flow paths. Each separate flow path includes a first flow path portion for directing the flow in a first direction away from the divider inlet, a second flow path portion directing the flow in a second flow direction that is substantially different from the first flow direction, and a flow redirector portion for redirecting the flow from the first flow direction to the second flow direction. The recovery tank also includes a tank body in downstream fluid communication with the flow divider. The tank body collects dirty fluid from the floor surface.

SURFACE-CLEANING MACHINE

A surface-cleaning machine is provided, which includes an appliance body on which a suction apparatus device is arranged, a cleaning head on which at least one cleaning roller is arranged, and a drive device for driving the at least one cleaning roller in rotation, wherein the cleaning head has, between a first face side and an oppositely situated second face side, a first region, a second region and a central region situated between the first and second regions, and wherein at least one first suction mouth is positioned at the first region and associated with the at least one cleaning roller and at least one second suction mouth is positioned at the second region and associated with the at least one cleaning roller, wherein the at least one first suction mouth and the at least one second suction mouth are fluidically connected to the suction apparatus device.

SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE

A surface-cleaning machine is provided, including an appliance body on which a suction apparatus device is arranged, a cleaning head on which at least one cleaning roller is arranged and on which there is positioned at least one suction mouth, which is fluidically connected to the suction apparatus device and is associated with the at least one cleaning roller, and a drive device for driving the at least one cleaning roller in rotation, wherein a drive axis of a drive motor of the drive device and an axis of rotation of the at least one cleaning roller are oriented transversely and in particular perpendicularly with respect to one another.

SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE HAVING A WETTING DEVICE

A surface cleaning machine including at least one cleaning roller, a drive device for rotary driving of the at least one cleaning roller, a wetting device for applying cleaning liquid to the at least one cleaning roller, and a suction unit arrangement for generating a suction stream is provided. The suction unit arrangement is fluidically connected to at least one suction duct and at least one suction nozzle that is associated with the at least one cleaning roller. The wetting device includes at least one pressure-controlled switch that opens a fluid path for cleaning liquid to the at least one cleaning roller and shuts off the fluid path, and the at least one pressure-controlled switch is coupled to the at least one suction duct, wherein a suction stream in the at least one suction duct moves the pressure-controlled switch into the open position and/or maintains the open position.

SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE

A surface cleaning machine is provided, including a cleaning roller holder, a cleaning roller that is arranged on the cleaning roller holder, a drive device for rotary driving of the cleaning roller, and a sweeping element that is associated with the cleaning roller and supplies swept material to the cleaning roller, wherein the sweeping element is arranged rotatably on the cleaning roller holder.

SURFACE MAINTENANCE MACHINE WITH SKIRTING TO ALLOW PARTICULATE PICKUP

Embodiments include a surface maintenance machine, comprising a maintenance tool chamber comprising a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side. A rotary broom is housed in the maintenance tool chamber and substantially enclosed by the first, second, third and fourth sides thereof. The rotary broom sweeps particulate from the surface.
