COLORIMETRIC MEASUREMENT ON A FLUIDIC SAMPLE WITH AN IMAGE SENSOR

A method for identifying a result of a test carried out from a fluidic sample, the fluidic sample being contained in a translucent container, the container being positioned on an area of interest of the container and opposite a dedicated area of the support. Ranges of reference colorimetric values and geometric references are printed on the support which also includes calibration colorimetric values printed in the at least one color calibration area.

SPECTROSCOPY APPARATUS

Spectroscopy including a source generating light profile on the sample. The light profile is movable relative to the sample. An optical input for receiving light from sample interaction with light from the source, a detector including two-dimensional array of photodetector elements, a dispersive device between the optical input and detector to spectrally disperse light from the optical input in spectral direction across the detector, an optical splitter in optical path between the optical input and detector to split light based upon wavenumber so, for a spectrum generated by a point on the sample, the spectrum first and second portions are dispersed across photodetector elements of different array row/column. Controller shifting data between photodetector elements in spatial direction, perpendicular to spectral direction, synchronously with relative movement between light profile and sample so data is accumulated on the spectrum first and second portions across different sets of photodetector elements during relative movement.

Optical filter and spectrometer

An optical assembly is disclosed including two laterally variable bandpass optical filters stacked at a fixed distance from each other, so that the upstream filter functions as a spatial filter for the downstream filter. The lateral displacement may cause a suppression of the oblique beam when transmission passbands at impinging locations of the oblique beam onto the upstream and downstream filters do not overlap. A photodetector array may be disposed downstream of the downstream filter. The optical assembly may be coupled via a variety of optical conduits or optical fibers for spectroscopic measurements of a flowing sample.

An arrangement for hyperspectral imaging, comprising an imaging sensor (170,270); a band-pass filter element (130,230): at least one imaging optics element (120,160,220,260) configured to form an image on the imaging sensor (170,270); and a first adjustable multi passband filter (150a,255); wherein the first (150a,255) adjustable multi passband filter is configured to be adjusted by tilting.

Spectrometer Device and Method for Producing a Spectrometer Device

A spectrometer device includes an optical interference filter which is designed to filter specific wavelength ranges of an incident light beam on passage through the optical interference filter. The spectrometer device also includes a detector device which is designed to detect the filtered light beam. Further, the spectrometer device includes a focusing device with a reflective surface. The focusing device is designed to focus the filtered light beam onto the detector device by reflection on the surface.

SKIN TANNING MEASURING DEVICE
20210378586 · 2021-12-09 ·

A Skin Tanning Measuring Device is provided to determine tanning level and skin penetration to various wavelengths, comprising of a device capable to inject light into the skin and monitor the light level emerging out from the skin tissue at a different location. By measuring the amount of emerging light, an individual tanning level could be deducted based on at least one additional measurement performed at an untanned location. The measurements will be used to compare between those levels and the saturated tanning levels, and will issue out a warning when the tanning is too high and additional exposure may be hazardous. Moreover, the offered system will measure skin penetration to UV hazardous radiation with and without sunscreen protection. The device will also provide information regarding melanin absorption as a function of UV exposure, and monitor those values over time and issue out a warning to users.

An optical filter array is used in a photodetection device that generates image data separately for each of N (where N is an integer greater than or equal to 4) wavelength bands. The optical filter array includes a plurality of optical filters. The plurality of optical filters include plural types of optical filters differing in transmittance from each other in each of the N wavelength bands. Assuming that pi is an average of transmittances of the plurality of optical filters for light in an ith wavelength band (where i is an integer greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to N) of the N wavelength bands, a standard deviation of the average μ.sub.i of the transmittances for the N wavelength bands is less than or equal to 0.13.
