ROBOT CLEANER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING ROBOT CLEANER
The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling a robot cleaner including a pair of rotary plates having lower sides to which mops facing a floor surface are coupled, the robot cleaner being configured to move by rotating the pair of rotary plates, the method including: a first forward movement step of moving the robot cleaner forward from a starting point toward a predetermined target point; a first rotation step of rotating the robot cleaner; a second forward movement step of moving the robot cleaner forward after the first rotation step; and a second rotation step of rotating the robot cleaner after the second forward movement step, such that the floor surface may be repeatedly cleaned only by the forward movement and the rotation.

A mobile cleaner includes a dust housing, an agitator, and a dustpan. The dust housing has a collection opening facing a surface. The agitator is rotatably disposed within the dust housing and is exposed to the surface through the collection opening. The agitator is configured to move foreign material from the floor into the dust housing. The dustpan directs the foreign material moved by the agitator into the dust housing. The dustpan extends around a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the agitator and is configured to rotate independent of the agitator.

The invention relates to a floor cleaning system, comprising a user-guided floor cleaning machine for cleaning a floor surface, a sensor device, a control device, and an actuatable display device, wherein the floor cleaning machine comprises an operating device for a user, a chassis for moving the cleaning machine over the floor surface, and at least one cleaning device having a cleaning tool and preferably a drive device for the cleaning tool, wherein, during operation of the floor cleaning machine, a cleaning path along which, proceeding from a starting point, the cleaning machine travels over the floor surface can be determined by the control device on the basis of signals from the sensor device, and wherein the control device actuates the display device in order to display cleaning-related information, depending upon the cleaning path along which the cleaning machine is determined to have traveled.
