A surface cleaning machine includes: a suction device; a cleaning base suitable for moving on a surface to be cleaned, the cleaning base comprising a cleaning roller capable of rotating; a cleaning liquid supply unit; and a dirty liquid recovery tank, the dirty liquid recovery tank being in fluid communication with the suction device; where the cleaning base further includes a transfer chamber adjacent to the rear side of the cleaning roller and capable of temporarily holding a solid-liquid mixture, the transfer chamber configured to be in fluid communication with the suction device, so that the surface cleaning machine can transfer at least a part of liquid or at least a part of a solid-liquid mixture from the transfer chamber to the dirty liquid recovery tank by means of the suction device, thereby achieving a low energy consumption operation.

A surface cleaning apparatus adapted for wet cleaning includes a heated fluid delivery system having a dual-phase distributor that dispenses heated liquid and steam vapor. The dual-phase distributor can include a phase separator that separates a vapor phase of a heated fluid from a liquid phase of the heated fluid, a heated liquid outlet, and a steam vapor outlet. The housing having a cleaning foot and an upper housing operably coupled to the cleaning foot. The suction source being fluidly connected to the suction nozzle by a working air conduit. The steam port having an aperture provided in the cleaning foot. The steam supply system having a steam nozzle with at least a portion that projects through the steam port. The flexible seal being provided at least around the steam nozzle.

A floor cleaner includes an electrically powered component and a switch. The switch includes a button including an actuator surface. A fluid channel is formed by a fluid collection surface disposed below the button and an outer channel wall extending upwardly from the fluid collection surface, the fluid channel having a fluid outlet. A projection of the button is received in an inner button aperture formed by an inner wall extending from the fluid collection surface forming a bushing around the projection. The inner wall inhibits flow of fluid from the fluid channel through the inner button aperture. The outer channel wall surrounds the aperture wall such that fluid entering the body between the perimeter of the button actuator surface and the aperture wall is collected by the fluid channel and directed to the fluid outlet.

The docking station can include a housing connected to the base portion and a pad cleaning system. The pad cleaning system can be connected to the housing and can include a cleaning head engageable with a cleaning pad of the mobile cleaning robot to remove debris from the cleaning pad, the cleaning head can include a nozzle configured to discharge a fluid onto the cleaning pad.
