Embodiments include a thermometer for measuring a temperature of a living being, including inside a cavity or on an external surface of the living being. The thermometer includes a temperature sensing probe coupled to the proximal end of the housing, a power source, light source, and processor. The light source can be configured to illuminate a portion of the housing near the temperature sensing probe. In some embodiments, the light source is configured to emit light in a plurality of colors. At least one of the plurality of colors may be indicative of a pre-measurement state. Some of the plurality of colors can be indicative of a specific temperature range. In some embodiments, the processor is operatively coupled to the power source, the temperature sensing probe, and the light source.

Indicator and electronic device including the same

Disclosed is an indicator including: light guide members; light emitting elements arranged around the light guide members; and diffusion sheets laminated on one or more surfaces of the light guide members and configured such that light irradiated from the light emitting elements is uniformly spread out to upper and lower surfaces of the light guide members after being guided to the light guide members, and an electronic device including the same. The light diffused by the diffusion sheets is simultaneously emitted on two or more different surfaces outside of an electronic device. Because the electronic device can improve convenience of use of the electronic device by allowing the user to easily recognize information output from the electronic device regardless of the positioning state of the electronic device because the indicator is arranged such that information may be output on at least two surfaces at the same time.

Flat dial with 3D appearance

A dial assembly is provided that includes a dial surface including a flat surface and a plurality of lines formed on the flat surface projected from a 3D object that generate a 3D appearance. One or more light sources illuminate each of the lines of the plurality of lines. A method of forming a dial assembly is also provided. The method includes dividing a subject 3D dial with a plurality of equidistant planes and projecting edges of the planes onto a flat dial surface to form a plurality of lines to generate a 3D appearance on the flat dial surface.

Water thermometer

A water thermometer includes a housing; a thermometer assembly arranged in the housing; a suspending part, connected to the housing; and a lighting assembly arranged in the suspending part and configured to illuminate the thermometer assembly.

SURFACE THERMOMETER

A thermometer configured to detect a range of temperatures of a cooking surface includes a gauge including a first indicia and a second indicia, a thermometal operably connected to the gauge, and a stationary member defining a first aperture, the gauge configured to rotate relative to the stationary member. In response to the thermometal detecting a first range of temperatures, the gauge is configured to rotate relative to the stationary member to display the first indicia through the first aperture. In response to the thermometal detecting a second range of temperatures, the gauge is configured to rotate relative to the stationary member to display the second indicia through the first aperture.
