A MEMS device, e.g., a flexible MEMS pressure sensor, is formed by disposing a sacrificial layer, such as photoresist, on a substrate. A first flexible support layer is disposed on the substrate, and a first conductive layer is disposed over a portion of the first support layer. A liquid or gel separator, e.g., silicone oil, is disposed on an internal region of the first conductive layer. A second flexible support layer encapsulates the first conductive layer and the separator. A second conductive layer disposed over the second support layer at least partially overlaps the first conductive layer and forms a parallel plate capacitor. A third flexible support layer encapsulates the second conductive layer and second support layer. Soaking the sensor in hot water releases the sensor from the sacrificial layer.

An apparatus includes a cover assembly, a gasket, and a housing assembly. The cover assembly generally has a hook feature and a first locking feature. The hook feature generally has a first passage in communication with an exterior of the apparatus. The gasket is generally mounted on the cover assembly and has (i) a first sealing region, (ii) a second sealing region, and (iii) a second passage in communication with the first passage. The housing assembly generally has a sealing feature, a second locking feature, and a first cavity configured to hold a sensor. The sealing feature generally mates with the first sealing region of the gasket. The sensor (a) generally seals to the second sealing region of the gasket and (b) may be in communication with the exterior of the apparatus through the first passage and the second passage. The first locking feature of the cover assembly generally cooperates with the second locking feature of the housing assembly to lock the cover assembly to the housing assembly.

A pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of a fluid medium includes a mounting device, a sensor device and a sealing element. The mounting device holds the sensor device and is mountable in a mounting bore of a wall. The sensor device includes a diaphragm and a sensor element, which generates a measurement signal for a pressure-dependent deformation of the diaphragm. The sealing element seals the mounting bore and includes a trunnion held by a socket of the sensor device.

Hydraulic sensor attachment structure

A hydraulic sensor attachment structure includes an accommodating portion, a sensor case, and a lid disposed over the accommodating portion. In the hydraulic sensor attachment structure, an oil passage body includes the accommodating portion and a hydraulic pressure detection port. A hydraulic sensor includes a sensor main body, and the sensor case that covers the sensor main body. The accommodating portion includes a support portion that supports the hydraulic sensor from below. The sensor case includes a detection port portion. The accommodating portion includes a fastening portion and the lid includes a fastening portion. By fastening the fastening portion of the accommodating portion and the fastening portion of the lid by rotating the lid in one direction of the circumferential directions, the sensor case is held by the support portion and the lid in the up-down direction and is fixed to the oil passage body.
