METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PARAMETRIC AMPLIFICATION
A system for converting an input oscillation having an input frequency into an output oscillation having an output frequency is disclosed. The system comprises: a controller configured for receiving the input oscillation and responsively generating a multi-component drive signal. A frequency of at least one component of the drive signal is other than two times the input frequency. In some embodiments, a frequency of another component of the drive signal equals about two times the output frequency. The system also comprises an oscillator for generating pump oscillations responsively to the drive signal and applying parametric excitation to the input oscillation at the pump oscillations.

Resistance Brazing for a Shaft Balancing System
A method and a system of balancing a shaft for an axle assembly. The method may include using an electrical resistance welder to weld a balance weight to a shaft proximate an imbalance location using an insert or brazing material. The insert material may have a lower liquidus temperature than a liquidus temperatures of the shaft and balancing weight.
Method for pre-balancing and machining a crankshaft based on a mass distribution method
A computer program and method for pre-balancing a crankshaft. The method includes receiving data related to a three dimensional scan of the crankshaft; generating a model based on the data; and providing instructions, based on the model, for defining a pre-balancing machining axis.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ROTATING COMPONENT BALANCING
The subject matter of the present disclosure can help provide solutions to problems associated with eccentricities between mounting components in rotating gas turbine engine components, such as by providing a simulator component for balancing with an actual component outside of a gas turbine engine installation. The simulator component can allow for balancing of the actual component cumulatively with the simulator component for later installation of the actual component into a gas turbine engine with a simulated component simulated by the simulator component. The simulator component can have rotational dynamic properties, e.g., the same center of gravity and a scaled diametral moment of inertia, relative to the simulated component.

METHOD FOR INSTALLING A COUNTERWEIGHT ON A SHAFT, AND A DEVICE FOR THIS PURPOSE
A balancing device for installing a counterweight in a specified shaft balancing region paired with a balancing plane includes a securing device which can be controlled via a control unit. The securing device has a first and a second receiving area for a counterweight or the shaft at a free end. A slot is arranged on the balancing device such that the balancing device can be moved along the shaft in the axial direction. The balancing device has a sensor for ascertaining the position of the balancing device relative to the shaft. The balancing device further includes a display unit which is connected to the control unit so as to exchange data and which is designed such that the position of the balancing device relative to the balancing region can be displayed.

CRANKSHAFT BALANCER SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
A crankshaft balancer suspension system for measuring an imbalance of a crankshaft. The crankshaft balancer suspension system has a base structure, a measurement bridge structure configured to support the crankshaft during rotation, and a plurality of flexural support legs extending between the base structure and the measurement bridge structure. The plurality of flexural support legs are sized and shaped to permit flexure of the measurement bridge structure relative to the base structure. The crankshaft balancer suspension system further having a drive system having a drive shaft connectable to the crankshaft for rotating the crankshaft and a sensor coupled to the measurement bridge structure for detecting an imbalance in the crankshaft during rotation and outputting imbalance data.
