3D PHARMACOPHORE MODEL FOR THE RAPID COMPUTATIONAL SCREENING OF SARS-COV-2 MODULATORS AND COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS THEREOF
The invention encompasses compositions and compounds for inhibiting CoV2 Spike GP and human ACE2 proteins and a 3D pharmacophore model described herein provides the means for rapid, high-throughput virtual screening of potential anti-CoV2 modulators thus facilitating, optimizing and speeding up the search for the discovery of a potent anti-COVID-19 agent and methods of treatment and prevention thereof.
DEVICE FOR DETECTING AN ANALYTE IN A SAMPLE
The present invention provides a device for detecting an analyte in a sample, including a chamber for receiving a testing element, where the testing element has a first position and a second position in the chamber; the testing element is not in contact with a fluid sample when the testing element is located in the first position, and the testing element is in contact with a fluid sample when the testing element is located in the second position.
Method and system for sample collection, storage, preparation and detection
A collection device for a biological sample to capture target compounds such as viruses or other pathogens or particles for testing from within the sample and move the captured target compound to a separate chamber for subsequent processing. The collection device can include an openable substance blister including capture particles located in a cup interior. Capture particles can attract and bind the target compounds from the sample. An extraction tube extracts any nucleic acid from the target compound for storage or subsequent amplification and testing to confirm presence of known microorganisms. The extraction tube can comprise a heat-deformable material and can be connected to a microfluidic cartridge for further processing of nucleic acid including, amplification and detection. The microfluidic cartridge includes valves and a plurality of chambers for amplification.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RAPID DETECTION OF SARS-COV-2 USING A RADIOLABELED ANTIBODY
The present disclosure relates to methods and kits for detecting SARS-CoV-2 virus in a patient. For example, a method is disclosed that includes contacting at least a portion of a diluted saliva sample, the diluted saliva sample including a saliva sample from a patient and a saline solution, with a radiolabeled SARS-CoV-2-targeted antibody to form a first solution that includes target bound antibody and unbound antibody; separating at least a portion of the target bound antibody from the unbound antibody in the first solution to form a separated target bound antibody solution; and detecting a radiation level in the separated target bound antibody sample indicating the presence of the target bound antibody in the separated target bound antibody sample.

Open-Cell Foam Based Pathogen Remediation
An open-cell foam structure that is impregnated with a disinfectant and used to remove pathogens from air, water, and surfaces, and kill the pathogens
DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC FOR THE IDENTIFICATION AND TREATMENT OF SARS-CoV-2
The present invention provides methods and diagnostic kits for the detection or prediction of SARS-CoV-2. More particularly, the present invention provides for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 by detecting in a human biological sample inhibition of protein translation by the phosphorylation of the eukaryotic initiation factor-2α (eIF-2α), and the formation of stress granules (SGs) known to be affected by Sars-CoV-2
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR EXOSOME-BASED DIAGNOSTICS AND DIAGNOSIS OF DISEASE
The invention encompasses an innovative system for exosome-based diagnostics of infection and/or inflammation that is based on a novel exosome isolation kit from biological fluids such as urine and saliva in the form of a syringe, and a rapid diagnostic test device that simultaneously detects exosomal biomarkers based on a quantitative assay and disease (infection/inflammation) biomarkers.
Aseptic tamper evident sampling container
A closed and tamper-evident sealed container, including a fluid transport adapter. The adapter provides for sterile fluid communication between a fluid source outside the container and the container interior when adapter is open. The adapter is adjustable to a closed position wherein the fluid communication ceases. An alternative to the adapter utilizes a sampling attachment that fits into tight engagement with the lid which comprises at least one septum. Coupling the sampling attachment to the lid either causes sharps in the attachment to penetrate the at least one septum or to displace the edges of the septum inward to form a fluid communication with the container interior while the lid remains sealed closed. Other variations include a rotatable sampling attachment, a container with a displaceable bottom wall to act as a syringe and a large volume (e.g., 1500 mL) sealed ampoule which also uses a sampling attachment.
Open-cell foam biological indicator for bacteria detection and removal from water or air, and methods of use
An open-cell foam biological indicator for bacteria detection and removal from water or air, and methods of use.
