The present disclosure relates to a quantitative, sterile and disposable automatic cell sampling device and method. The automatic cell sampling device includes a sampling container, a pump, a sterile filter, a control valve, a first conduit, and a second conduit. A receiving cavity is formed in an interior of the sampling container, and a first interface and a second interface are formed in a top portion of the sampling container for achieving a maximum sampling capacity of the sampling container. One end of the first conduit is connected to the first interface, and the other end thereof is connected to a cell based drug production device through the pump. The control valve is installed in a middle of the first conduit. The second conduit is connected between the second interface and the sterile filter, and is configured for discharging and supplementing sterile air in the sampling container.

Dynamic Environmental Water Sampling backpack
20180052080 · 2018-02-22 ·

A dynamic device for sampling of a body of water, featuring the use of sterile collection equipment and precise parametric controls based on feedback data, so that when the device is activated the product of the sampling and filtration process therein accurately indicates the characteristics of the body of water from which the sample was taken. Various sensors help in providing data for bringing about precise parametric control of the dynamic device.

Method and system for trace detection of low volatile substances

A system includes a conductive sampling swab including a non-mesh substrate and a thermal desorber including a clamping assembly configured to releasably hold the conductive sampling swab. The clamping assembly is configured to be electrically connected to a voltage or current source, and the thermal desorber is configured to resistively heat the conductive sampling swab to a temperature sufficient to vaporize a sample material disposed on the conductive sampling swab.

Target cell capture filter and target cell capture method

[Object] A target cell capture filter is provided, having an improved capture ratio per unit area, structured as a filter for extracting and capturing target cells contained in a biological sample such as blood or the like in a simple manner, in a short period of time, and with high efficiency. [Solving Means] A target cell capture filter is structured to have a capture face for capturing target cells in a liquid. The target cell capture filter has multiple notches that allows a part of the capture face to be elastically deformed in a direction that is orthogonal to the capture face, thereby providing gaps. At least part of the plurality of notches are a first notch group including multiple notches designed such that there is a difference between the notches in a shortest distance from a greatest deformation location of the notch to an outer edge of the capture face, and such that the same elastic deformation amount is exhibited with respect to the impulse per unit area.

DEVICE FOR SURFACE SAMPLING

A blood sampling device is provided having holder with a manipulating end and an absorbent probe on the opposing end. The probe is made of pyrolyzed porous carbon sized to directly absorb a predetermined volume of liquid, preferably biological fluid, in a predetermined amount of time. Shapes for absorbent probes of differing materials are provided.

SAMPLE COLLECTION AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING DEVICE

A device for collection of fluid samples is provided. The device can include a swab for collection of fluids such as oral fluids. The device can further include an expeller configured to expel fluid from the swab to allow processing of the fluids for any desired testing. The swab and expeller can allow more convenient automated processing of samples and can allow efficient collection and use of samples such as oral fluids. It is contemplated that the device may be used for many types of fluids including other bodily fluids besides oral fluids/saliva.
