DEVICE FOR DETECTING CONCENTRATION OF HEAVY METALS
The present invention relates to a device for detecting concentration of heavy metals. The device for detecting concentration of heavy metals acquires spectrum information of a carrier to be tested by utilizing a spectrum information acquiring system, a receiving system and a processing system. The device further processes the spectrum information to obtain the type of the carrier to be tested and the corresponding concentration of heavy metals. Therefore, the efficiency of acquiring the whole concentration of the heavy metals is remarkably improved. Furthermore, based on the specific structure of the device for detecting concentration of heavy metals provided by the present invention, the device for detecting concentration of heavy metals has the characteristics of simple structure and low costs.
Spectroscopic evaluation of edible oil using profiles
A characteristic of edible oil may be evaluated using a spectrometer. For example, optical reflectance data may be obtained from edible oil in situ in a frying apparatus housing the edible oil, the reflectance data corresponding to a specified range of infra-red wavelengths. A model profile corresponding to the characteristic being assessed may be obtained, such as from a repository housing a secured library of such profiles. The model profile may define a regression vector for use in transforming the reflectance data to generate a value corresponding to the characteristic being assessed. A criterion may be applied to the value to establish a simplified representation of the characteristic for presentation to a user for assessment of oil quality.
OPTICAL CELL CULTURE MONITORING AND ANALYTE MEASURING SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and devices for non-invasive measurement of cell cultures are described that provide for remote monitoring of cell status. The system includes a cell culture vessel, at least one monitoring layer, at least one measurement device, and a communication component. The cell culture vessel may include at least one cell culture chamber configured for cell growth and for closed-system operation. The monitoring layer is external to the at least one cell culture chamber. In some cases, the communication component is configured to transmit data from the monitoring layer to a remote location.
BIOMARKER TESTING AND DIAGNOSTICS
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to apparatuses, systems, and methods for detecting biomarkers in biological samples present in assay tests using a control strip and indicator strip, where the control strip includes reagents that form a reactive gas which reacts with the biomarker on the indicator strip, if present. Methods of using the test apparatuses include taking a sending photographs of a used test apparatus to a medical provider to demonstrate adherence to a pharmaceutical treatment regimen.
LIGHT PIPE FOR SPECTROSCOPY
A spectroscopic assembly may include a spectrometer. The spectrometer may include an illumination source to generate a light to illuminate a sample. The spectrometer may include a sensor to obtain a spectroscopic measurement based on light, reflected by the sample, from the light illuminating the sample. The spectroscopic assembly may include a light pipe to transfer the light reflected from the sample. The light pipe may include a first opening to receive the spectrometer. The light pipe may include a second opening to receive the sample, such that the sample is enclosed by the light pipe and a base surface when the sample is received at the second opening. The light pipe may be associated with aligning the illumination source and the sensor with the sample.
METROLOGY 3D SCANNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A metrology three-dimensional (3D) scanning system includes a metrology 3D scanning application (app) comprising computing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, causing the one or more processors to: record human-robot interaction (HRI) data as a human operator operates the HRI device; generate a preliminary scan path based on the HRI data for operating a robotic element within an operating environment; move the robotic element along at least a portion of the preliminary scan path and record preliminary scan data comprising at least a subset of dimension data defining at least a target object; generate a metrology scanning path plan and a motion plan for the robotic element based on the preliminary scan data; and execute instructions to move the robotic element within the operating environment according to the metrology scanning path plan and the motion plan for scanning the target object.
