Water purifying module self-cleaning method and washing machine using same

Disclosed are a water purifying module self-cleaning method and a washing machine using the method. The water purifying module self-cleaning method comprises: starting a water purifying module self-cleaning program to feed water into a washing machine to reach a preset level; and repeating a heating rinsing program and a clear water replacement rinsing program in sequence until detecting that the water purifying module is clean, wherein the heating rinsing program comprises a washing water heating step, a membrane rinsing step, a standing step and a membrane air washing step. The water purifying module self-cleaning method can peel off impurities, macromolecular particles and the like from the surface of a filter system (5) of a water purifying module, thus ensuring the water purifying effect of the water purifying module and effectively prolonging the service life of the water purifying module.

A hydraulic system for a household appliance which includes a pump that is driven by an electric motor, an outlet conduit in fluid communication with an outlet of the pump, a magnetic check valve having a flap and a control unit. The control unit is configured to control the speed of the electric motor in a closed loop and to determine whether the flap of the check valve is in an open position or in a closed position based on the torque of the electric motor estimated from the current consumption of the electric motor and/or the voltage in the terminals of the electric motor.

Filter assembly for a dishwasher

A dishwasher with a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a liquid spraying system, a liquid recirculation system defining a recirculation flow path, and a liquid filtering system. The liquid filtering system includes a rotatable filter disposed in the recirculation flow path to filter the liquid and a diverter overlying and spaced from at least a portion of the upstream surface to form a gap there between.

Dishwasher appliance and method

A dishwasher appliance and method of operation is provided. The dishwasher appliance may include a tub defining a wash chamber, a coarse filter disposed, a recirculation pump, and a drain pump. The method may include activating the recirculation pump to flow wash fluid through the coarse filter in a primary flow direction, and activating the drain pump to flow wash fluid through the coarse filter in the primary flow direction for an initial purge cycle. Further included may be flushing wash fluid through the coarse filter and into the tub in a secondary flow direction opposite from the primary flow direction. Still further included may be activating the recirculation pump to flow wash fluid through the coarse filter in the primary flow direction, and activating the drain pump to flow wash fluid through the coarse filter in the primary flow direction for an additional purge cycle.
