Total-reflection-type rain sensor using mirror
The present invention relates to a total reflection type rain sensor using a mirror, which is attached to a glass of a vehicle to detect raindrops falling onto the glass of the vehicle and outputs a signal capable of controlling speed and cycle of a wiper of the vehicle according to the amount and falling frequency of raindrops detected.
Apparatus for analyzing bio-material
Provided is an apparatus for analyzing a bio-material. According to an embodiment of the inventive concept, the apparatus may include a light distribution part having grooves, a reflective layer provided on the grooves, and a light emitting part configured to emit light to the light distribution part. The grooves may be recessed from a top surface of the light distribution part, and sidewalls of the grooves may be inclined with respect to the top surface of the light distribution part. The grooves may include a first groove and a second groove. A distance between the light emitting part and the second groove may be greater than that between the light emitting part and the first groove, and a bottom surface of the second groove may be disposed at a level lower than that of a bottom surface of the first groove.

Dryness detection method and dryness detection apparatus
A dryness detection method of detecting dryness of a liquid resin composition containing a solvent. The dryness detection method includes a wavelength selection step of selecting a light absorption wavelength of the solvent, a light source selection step of selecting a light source that emits light including light of the selected wavelength, a light receiving step of applying the light that has been emitted from the light source to the liquid resin composition, and receiving light that has passed through the liquid resin composition, and a determination step of finding whether or not the light of the selected wavelength after absorption in the solvent in the light receiving step exceeds in quantity a predetermined threshold, and if the threshold is found to be exceeded, determining that the solvent has evaporated and the liquid resin composition has dried. A dryness determination apparatus is also disclosed.
Colored reagent complex and method of detecting a rust removing agent in metal working fluids using the same
Methods for detecting an amount of a rust removing agent in a sample are disclosed, the methods using a colored reagent complex formed from a reaction of a transition metal salt and a salicylate salt or acid, or a derivative thereof. A method includes making a test sample solution comprising the sample and the colored reagent complex, evaluating the visible color and/or absorption value of the test sample solution, and comparing the visible color and/or absorption value of the test sample solution to the visible color and/or absorption value of a reference solution containing a known amount of rust removing agent.
