DISH WASHER
A dish washer includes: a washing tank including a sump at a bottom surface thereof; a water storage unit disposed inside or outside the washing tank to store washing water to be supplied to the washing tank; a heat pump system including a compressor that compresses and circulates refrigerant, a first heat exchanger disposed in the sump, an expansion apparatus, and a second heat exchanger disposed in the water storage unit to heat washing water for washing the dishes; and a reverse valve that changes a flow of refrigerant flowing through each of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger to allow each of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger to be switched from each other between a heating mode for heating the washing water and a heat recovery mode for recovering heat from washing water discharged to the outside from the washing tank.
Integrated component for a dishwashing machine
An integrated component for supplying and treating water for a dishwashing machine having a washing tank includes a monolithic body of plastics material, within which an inlet conduit for water, a chamber containing substances with water-softening properties, into which the inlet conduit leads, a salt-containing reservoir arranged in the lowermost portion of the body and having a filler tube for loading the salt and to be connected to the washing tank, a compartment for blowing out vapours having an inlet opening to be connected to the washing tank and an outlet opening, an outlet conduit of water, a conduit for supplying water to the reservoir to produce the brine, and a conduit connecting the reservoir to the chamber are defined. The monolithic body has at least one protrusion, to which a sealing gasket is associated, for the direct connection within an opening of corresponding shape of the washing tank.
Conduit docking assembly for a dishwasher appliance
An adjustable conduit and docking assembly for use in a dishwasher appliance is provided. The adjustable conduit and docking assembly includes a conduit configured for receiving a docking station at different heights so as to accommodate a height adjustment of a rack assembly to which the conduit is attached. The conduit and docking assembly includes a multiport docking station to provide this functionality.
Check valve assembly for a drain pump assembly of a dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance includes a drain basin defined at a bottom of a sump of the dishwasher. The drain basin defines a discharge port and a drain pump is in fluid communication with the discharge port for selectively urging a flow of wash fluid through the discharge port to an external drain during a drain cycle. A check valve assembly includes a check valve removably positioned over the discharge port between the drain pump and the drain basin and a positioning arm attached to the check valve for positioning and locking the check valve in place.
DUAL CHECK VALVE FLUID CIRCULATION SYSTEM FOR DISHWASHER APPLIANCES
A fluid circulation assembly for a dishwasher appliance includes a pump, a diverter, and a valve. The diverter includes an inlet and a plurality of outlet ports. The inlet of the diverter is in fluid communication with the pump for receiving fluid from the pump. The valve is in fluid communication with the diverter via one or more of the plurality of outlet ports. The valve includes a housing, a dual check valve assembly mounted in the housing and a plurality of conduits. The dual check valve assembly selectively directs fluid from the diverter to one or more of the plurality of conduits.
Dishwasher with docking arrangement for elevation-adjustable rack
A dishwasher and method for operating the same utilize a docking arrangement for an elevation-adjustable rack. In some instances, a docking arrangement may include one or more rotatable docking ports to rotate a rotatable conduit supported on the rack, and in some instances, a docking arrangement may include a valve body disposed within a docking port and movable between open and closed positions in a direction generally parallel to an axis of insertion of a conduit into a docking port in response to rotation of a drive.
DISHWASHERS HAVING A HEAT EXCHANGER
A dishwashing machine comprising a tub that defines a wash space where dishes can be washed, a sump fluidly connected to the tub, a drain pump fluidly connecting the sump to a discharge pipe, a water tank fluidly connected to the sump though an on-off value and a softener, a heat exchanger located inside the water tank, and a diverter valve.
Dishwasher having a liquid transportation line
A dishwasher, in particular a commercial single-tank dishwasher or commercial multi-tank dishwasher, for washing washware includes a liquid transportation line (100) with at least one supply line for supplying liquid at a first temperature and comprising at least one discharge line for discharging liquid at a second temperature. The supply line and the discharge line run coaxially in relation to one another, so that either the supply line or the discharge line forms an internal line (10) which runs in the direction of extent of the liquid transportation line (100) within the respectively other supply line or discharge line which for its part forms an external line (20), and thereby form a countercurrent heat exchanger.
DISHWASHER WITH ROTATABLE DIVERTER VALVE
A dishwasher and method for operating the same utilize a diverter valve to control via rotation the flow of fluid such as wash fluid or pressurized air to a rotatable conduit supported in the rack of a dishwasher. A valve member may be disposed at a predetermined rotational position about an axis of rotation of the conduit such that a fluid inlet on a rotatable valve body may be rotated to the predetermined rotational position to restrict fluid flow to the conduit.
