A dishwasher having a treating chamber with one or more sprayers through which liquid is recirculated into the treating chamber, whereby the impact of the spray emitted from the sprayers impacts the structure forming the treating chamber to generate noise. Damping material is applied to structure forming the treating chamber to reduce the sound level of the impact exterior of the dishwasher.

A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a fluid pump, and a wireless power transmitter. The tub may define a wash chamber within the cabinet. The fluid pump may be in fluid communication with the tub for motivating a flow of wash fluid from the tub when activated. The fluid pump may include a fluid impeller rotatably positioned in fluid communication with the wash chamber, and an electric motor in mechanical communication with the fluid impeller to motivate rotation thereof. The wireless power receiver may be in electrical communication with the electric motor. The present invention relates to a dishwasher and a manufacturing method thereof. The dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a water guide extending upward from a sump and supplying washing water to an upper nozzle and a top nozzle, and the upper pipe and the top pipe are separately provided to the water guide, so pressure of the washing water applied to the upper pipe and the top pipe can be reduced.

A tubular spray element for a dishwasher is formed in part from a molded elongated tube including one or more elongated slots formed in a sidewall thereof along one or more lengthwise portions of the elongated tube and one or more additional lengthwise portions in which the sidewall extends fully around a circumference of the elongated tube. The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher for washing the dishes and the cooking utensils by spraying washing water and steam. The dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a tub which accommodates a washing object, a sump which is disposed in a bottom of the tub and stores washing water, a spray arm which sprays the washing water into the tub, a washing pump which sends the washing water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a check valve which is disposed between the sump and the washing pump and opened in a direction of the washing pump from the sump.
