The dishwasher according to the present invention includes: a case; a tub which is provided inside the case to form a washing space where a target of washing is received; a spray arm which sprays washing water into the tub; a sump which is disposed under the tub to store the washing water; a washing pump which supplies the washing water stored in the sump to the spray arm and generates steam; a steam nozzle which sprays the steam generated in the washing pump to the washing space; and a steam hose which connects the washing pump and the steam nozzle, wherein the sump comprises a steam hose supporter that supports the steam hose.
DUAL DRAIN SYSTEM WITH Y-HOSE
The disclosure provides for a drain system for an appliance. The drain system can include a Y-hose having a flexible end coupled to a supply of water from tub, a recirculating end, and a drain end, a recirculating valve coupled with the recirculating end, a drain valve spaced from the recirculating valve and coupled with the drain end, and wherein the recirculating end and the drain end are connected via a continuous connecting wall.
DISHWASHER SUMP AND DISHWASHER APPARATUS
A dishwashing apparatus may include a sump. The sump may include a sump pan configured to couple with a wash chamber of the dishwashing apparatus. The sump may include a sump well coupled to the sump pan and configured to collect the liquid from the sump pan. The sump well may include a well inlet in communication with the sump pan. The sump pan may convey the liquid to the well inlet. A recirculation port extending through a first wall of the sump well. A drain port may extend through a second wall of the sump well. The second wall defines a bottom of the sump well. The dishwashing apparatus may include a controller. The controller may monitor electrical characteristics of a pump. The controller may provide a notification if fluid is not flowing through the pump.
Dishwasher
A dishwasher according to the present invention comprises: a tub providing a washing space; a sump communicating with the tub through a recovery hole, and storing washing water; and a flow path portion installed on one surface of the tub, and supplying washing water to the tub and the sump. The flow passage portion includes: a water supply passage connected to a water supply source and receiving washing water; a first flow passage connected to the water supply passage and receiving washing water, and supplying washing water to the tub; and a second flow passage connected to the water supply passage and receiving washing water, and supplying washing water to the sump. The present invention has the advantages in that washing water can be supplied simultaneously to the tub and the sump, and washing water flowing in reverse in the sump can be prevented even when there is negative pressure in washing water being supplied to the sump.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a main body, a tub provided inside the main body and configured to form a washing chamber, a machine room formed under the tub, a drain hose configured to discharge washing water stored in the washing chamber, and a hose fixer disposed on a side surface of the tub and configured to fix at least a part of the drain hose, and the drain hose further includes a first coupler coupled to one side of the machine room and a second coupler coupled to the hose fixer, and the first coupler includes an insertion part provided to extend in a longitudinal direction of the first coupler to be inserted to the one side of the machine room to couple the first coupler to the one side of the machine room.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID, IN PARTICULAR IN A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A vessel contains a quantity of liquid and has a duct connected to an outlet of the vessel. A dispensing device can be actuated in order to cause the quantity of liquid to flow out of the vessel through the duct. A color sensor is also included, which faces towards a monitoring region situated in one of the vessel, the duct and the dispensing device. The color sensor is configured for providing a color signal indicative of the color of the quantity of liquid arriving at the monitoring region. A control device is configured for receiving the color signal from the color sensor and for actuating the dispensing device as a function of the color signal. A method is for dispensing the quantity of liquid from the vessel.
Dishwasher drain assemblies having overmolded volutes
An air vent for a dishwasher drain assembly having an overmolded volute is disclosed. The air vent has a surface with a first aperture defined therethrough and at least a portion of the surface sloping downward toward the first aperture. A flexible member having a shape is positioned across the portion of surface. The flexible member flexes toward and sealably engages the first aperture when a force presses the flexible member, and the flexible member is positioned away from the first aperture allowing air to pass through the first aperture when the force does not press the flexible member.
DISH WASHER
The present disclosure discloses a dish washer. The dish washer includes a container, a spraying duct, and a water supply system. The container has a cleaning area therein. A plurality of spraying devices are provided, and each spraying device is provided with a spraying hole and has a water inflow end. The water supply system is in communication with a water supply and the water inflow end of the spraying device. According to the dish washer of the present disclosure, water spray can be individually controlled by the multiple water supply systems or by cooperation between one water supply system and the diverter valve. Thus, the dish washer has satisfactory water usage efficiency.
