The dishwasher (10) comprises a body (101), an air passage (102), catalyst pieces (103) having nanometer titanium dioxide, and an ultraviolet lamp (104) used for emitting ultraviolet light to the catalyst pieces (103). An accommodating cavity (1011) used for accommodating tableware is defined in the body (101). A gas inlet (1012) and a gas outlet (1013) are defined in the wall of the accommodating cavity (1011). An air outlet of the air passage (102) is in communication with the gas inlet (1012), and an air inlet of the air passage (102) is in communication with the gas outlet (1013). The catalyst pieces (103) are disposed in the air passage (102). The ultraviolet lamp (104) is disposed in the air passage (102).
Washing Machine or Dishwasher for Cleaning Laundry or Dishes
A washing machine or dishwasher is disclosed. In an embodiment a washing machine or dishwasher includes a washing compartment configured to clean laundry or dishes and an ultraviolet radiation source configured to irradiate the laundry or the dishes, wherein the ultraviolet radiation source is arranged within the washing compartment.
DISHWASHER COMPRISING A MECHANISM FOR MODIFYING ODOR
A dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher, includes a mechanism for modifying odor. The mechanism for modifying odor includes an ozone generator for odor neutralization in a dishwasher cavity and a system for fragrance introduction into the dishwasher cavity. A control device has stored therein a process, which firstly provides for the odor neutralization by the ozone generator and then introduction of a new fragrance by the system for fragrance introduction.
Method for washing laboratory consumables
A method for washing laboratory consumables comprises directing one or more liquid solutions to contact a plurality of laboratory consumables held by a rack, draining the one or more liquid solutions via a waste drain disposed proximate to a washing chamber configured to receive the one or more directed liquid solutions following the contact by the one or more liquid solutions with the plurality of laboratory consumables, and exposing the plurality of laboratory consumables to light in an ultraviolet (UV) range. The directing comprises introducing the one or more liquid solutions into a fluid input and out of a plurality of fluid outputs of a manifold dispenser. The number of fluid outputs is equal to the number of laboratory consumables such that each one of the fluid outputs directs the one or more liquid solutions at a corresponding one of the laboratory consumables.
UVC LIGHT FOR WASH AND/OR RINSE CYCLES OF DISHWASHERS
A method of washing dishes comprising providing a housing having an interior wash space with dishes positioned therein; spraying a wash liquid onto the dishes positioned within the interior wash space with at least one spray nozzle; spraying a rinse liquid onto the dishes positioned within the interior wash space with at least one spray nozzle after spraying the wash liquid onto the dishes; and emitting ultraviolet (UV) light onto the dishes during the step of spraying the wash liquid onto the dishes, during the step of spraying the rinse liquid onto the dishes, or during both steps of spraying the wash liquid onto the dishes and spraying the rinse liquid onto the dishes.
HIGH SPEED REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER WASHING SYSTEM WITH SPINNING BEVERAGE CONTAINER HOLDER
A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. Separate entrance and exit openings may be provided in some instances to minimize employee interaction with unwashed customer beverage containers, and a beverage container may be conveyed from the entrance opening to the exit opening past one or more stations using a holder that is capable of spinning the beverage container when the beverage container is disposed in at least one of the stations.
PIPETTE TIP WASHING DEVICE
A method for washing laboratory consumables comprises receiving, in a drawer compartment of a washing device, a rack holding a plurality of laboratory consumables, the drawer compartment selectively movable out and in between, respectively, an open and a closed position, the receiving occurring when the drawer compartment is in its open position; moving the drawer compartment to its closed position; moving a manifold dispenser downward from a loading/unloading position to a washing position; the manifold dispenser in a top compartment of the washing device that is positioned above the drawer compartment when the drawer compartment is in its closed position, the manifold dispenser selectively movable up and down between, respectively its loading/unloading position and its washing position; and directing one or more fluid solutions to contact the plurality of laboratory consumables out of a plurality of liquid outputs of the manifold dispenser.
Water conserving cleaning system, apparatus and method
The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus for rinsing and disinfecting utensils, on demand, with a controller operating the components that deliver a pro-determined volume or timed flow of water, and exposure time of sanitizer(s) to the intended objects. The spray embodiment has high performance conical spray nozzle(s) controlled by a controller that reduces water usage and that may vary depending on the viscosity of the material to be eliminated. The recirculating embodiment has a recirculating water system, with a controller operating the components that recirculate water throughout the system until the turbidity exceeds a chosen threshold, and displace with fresh water until the turbidity returns to a lower threshold. The water resumes recirculation until it again exceeds the chose turbidity threshold and the water in the system is again displaced by fresh water. Both spray and recirculating embodiments can contain multiple rinse stations.
REUSABLE FOOD OR BEVERAGE CONTAINER SANITIZING AND WASHING SYSTEM
A sanitizing and washing system encourages the use of reusable food or beverage containers by utilizing a quick and compact system to sanitize and wash the containers prior to reuse. The doors of the pass-through chamber allow the customer to insert an unsanitized and unwashed container on the entry (dirty) side of the system, and the retail employee to remove the sanitized and washed container from the exit (clean) side of the system without having to touch any other surface (doors, knobs, handles, etc.) than the container itself. The system utilizes a UV light source to sanitize the exterior surfaces of the container, while a washing nozzle sprays cleaning fluid to wash and remove residue from the interior surfaces.
High speed reusable beverage container washing system
A beverage container washing system may be used for rapid washing and/or sanitizing of beverage containers, e.g., for use in a retail environment to wash and/or sanitize customer-provided beverage containers prior to filling the beverage containers with purchased beverages, among other applications. Separate entrance and exit openings may be provided in some instances to minimize employee interaction with unwashed customer beverage containers. A spray assembly may be used to spray wash fluid heated to a sanitizing temperature onto beverage containers and an ultraviolet sanitizing assembly may be used to emit ultraviolet light toward beverage containers. The spray assembly may also include a tank with first and second chambers and a cross-over with an inverted conduit fluidly coupling the first and second chambers.
