Provided is a dishwasher with a structure capable of improving ease of use. The dishwasher may be installed in a built-in type in a system kitchen including a cabinet having an accommodating space and a counter positioned on the cabinet and including an opening. The dishwasher may include: a tub including a front opening; a front door configured to open or close the front opening; a top door configured to open or close the opening; a basket positioned in the inside of the tub, the basket being taken out through the front opening; and an additional basket being taken out through the opening.

A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher comprising a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber having an open face for receiving dishes a door assembly movable between opened and closed positions the door assembly comprising a door panel, a pocket handle defining a pocket width and proximate the top of the door panel for selectively opening and closing the open face of the tub, and a console coupled to the top of the door panel and comprising an isogrid structure at a location proximate the pocket handle.

A method of assembling a stiffener to a dishwasher door assembly having an outer door and an inner door spaced from the outer door, the method comprising: positioning a rib from the stiffener adjacent a channel in a side flange of the outer door; rotating the stiffener to insert the rib into the channel; after positioning the rib into the channel, sliding the stiffener until a portion of the stiffener contacts a bottom flange of the outer door; and while the portion of the stiffener abuts the bottom flange, securing the stiffener to the outer door.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet, in which a storage space is defined, and a door configured to open and close the storage space. The door includes a door body and a panel assembly mounted in front of the door body. The panel assembly includes a lighting device configured to irradiate light, a panel which is configured to define a front surface of the door and through which light is transmitted, a light guide plate provided behind the panel to guide the light irradiated from the lighting device to the panel, and an upper bracket provided above the panel to define a top surface of the panel assembly. The light guide plate extends more upward than an upper end of the panel, and an extending upper end of the light guide plate is accommodated in the upper bracket.

The door includes a door body and a panel assembly mounted on a front surface of the door body. The panel assembly includes a panel which is configured to define a front surface of the door and through which light is transmitted, a lighting device configured to allow the panel to shine with a set color, a back cover configured to define a rear surface of the panel assembly, and a panel holder configured to fix the panel assembly to the door body. An appliance includes a cabinet in which a storage space is defined and a door configured to open and close the storage space. The door includes a door body and a panel assembly mounted on the door body. The panel assembly includes a panel that defines a front surface of the door and is configured to transmit light, a lighting device configured to allow the panel to shine with a set color, and a back cover configured to define a rear surface of the panel assembly. A cover support portion of which at least a portion extends backward to be supported on the door body is disposed on a lower end of the back cover.

A household appliance includes a cabinet, a door, and a handle. The cabinet includes a plurality of panels and defines an internal chamber therein. The door includes a front panel and an interior panel, the front panel and the interior panel defining a door cavity between the front panel and the interior panel. The front panel may include a handle cavity edge. The front panel can define a handle cavity at the handle cavity edge. The handle cavity edge may include a plurality of flanges angled into the door cavity. The handle may be disposed in the handle cavity and may include an outer surface and an inner surface. The handle further may include a plurality of snaps located on a periphery of the inner surface. The snaps may be lodged against corresponding flanges and may attach the handle to the front panel of the door.

A dishwasher with an improved door structure. The dishwasher includes a cabinet having a washing tub and a door installed at one side of the cabinet to open and close the washing tub, wherein the door includes a door member in which an electrical component is installed, a handle member installed on the door member to form a handle, and a water discharge channel allowing water to be discharged to outside of the door through the door member and the handle member.

A dishwasher is provided that may include a tub configured to define a washing space in which a washing object is washed, the tub having an open side, a first accommodating rack configured to accommodate the washing object inside of the tub, the first accommodating rack being unloadable from the tub, and a door configured to selectively open and close the open side of the tub, the door supporting the first accommodating rack when the first accommodating rack is unloaded. The tub may include a first protrusion protruding from an inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to support the first accommodating rack and guide movement of the first accommodating rack, and a second protrusion provided above the first protrusion and protruding from the inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to prevent the first accommodating rack from being lifted upward when the first accommodating rack is unloaded.

A dishwasher having a treating chamber with one or more sprayers through which liquid is recirculated into the treating chamber, whereby the impact of the spray emitted from the sprayers impacts the structure forming the treating chamber to generate noise. Damping material is applied to structure forming the treating chamber to reduce the sound level of the impact exterior of the dishwasher.
