DISHWASHING APPLIANCE VENT CONDUIT
20230284865 · 2023-09-14 ·

A method of assembling a dishwashing appliance includes selecting one fan cover from a plurality of fan covers. Each fan cover of the plurality of fan covers is configured to be removably mounted in a vent conduit. The plurality of fan covers are each interchangeable with every other fan cover of the plurality of fan covers. The method also includes mounting the selected fan cover removably in the vent conduit. Such mounting results in the formation of a flow path for air from an ambient environment outside of the dishwashing appliance through the vent conduit and the fan cover. The flow path for air from the ambient environment is partially defined by a wall of the fan cover.

A door for an appliance includes a front panel that defines an opening. A pocket handle is mounted to the front panel. A front portion of pocket handle is positioned at the opening of the front panel, and a rear portion of the pocket handle is inset within the front panel along a transverse direction. The pocket handle includes a first pocket body and a second pocket body. The first and second pocket bodies are mounted together to form the pocket handle. The first pocket body contacts the second pocket body along a lap joint at the rear portion of the pocket handle. The first and second pocket bodies overlap along the transverse direction at the lap joint.

Quick-wash feature for dishwasher appliance

A dishwasher appliance including a quick-wash feature. A secondary door attached is attached to a main door and forms a quick-wash compartment. A quick-wash assembly provides fluid for cleaning. An appliance may include a cabinet defining an opening, a door attached to the cabinet that allows selective access to the opening, a handle attached to the door, and a handle endcap that may removably connect the handle to the door. The handle endcap may include a slide lock receiver frame and a slide lock base removably attached to the slide lock receiver frame. The slide lock receiver frame may include a locking tab wall and an outer case. The slide lock base may include a base body, a resilient locking tab and a tab protrusion. The resilient locking tab may be joined to the base body to selectively deflect in an inward direction, the tab protrusion extending in an outward direction to motivate the resilient locking tab inward in response to slidable movement of the tab protrusion along the locking tab wall.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

A method for manufacturing an electronic component that includes: preparing an electronic component body having an internal electrode, the internal electrode being exposed on an outer surface of the electronic component body; and forming a first electrode layer by injecting fine metal particles to the outer surface of the electronic component body and causing the fine metal particles to collide with the outer surface at a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure.

MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITHIN AN APPLIANCE CONTROL PANEL

A control panel for an appliance defines a display direction and includes a console cover defining a display surface and an inner surface, a printed circuit board defining a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface along the display direction, wherein the first surface of the printed circuit board is positioned against the inner surface of the console cover, a retention bracket mounted over the second surface of the printed circuit board to secure the printed circuit board to the console cover, and a resilient member that extends from the retention bracket toward the printed circuit board and is biased against the second surface of the printed circuit board.

APPLIANCE CONTROL PANEL WITH LIGHT DIFFUSION FEATURES

A door for an appliance includes a control panel mounted on the door and defining an illumination direction. The control panel includes a printed circuit board defining a top surface, a light source mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board, a control cover mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board over the light source and defining a light directing channel extending from a bottom surface of the control cover to a top surface of the control cover, and wherein the control cover further defines a reflective surface for redirecting the light generated by the light source toward the top surface of the control cover, and an overlay panel mounted on the top surface of the control cover, the overlay panel comprising one or more diffused indicator zones.
