Medical separating device
A medical separation device, its production, and its use are provided, wherein the device has a hollow cylindrical housing sealed at its top and bottom sides, wherein the device has an outer wall, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet, and wherein the device has a filling connection for a separation medium arranged tangentially to, and inside of, the cylindrical housing outer wall for filling the device with a separation medium.
COLUMN PACKING APPARATUS AND PACKING METHOD
A column packing apparatus includes a tubular structure, a packing material supplier disposed on one end of the tubular structure for permitting a packing material slurry formed by a packing material dispersed in a solvent to be packed into the tubular structure, and a packing controller disposed on the other end of the tubular structure for determining the flow rate and pressure of the packing material slurry formed by the packing material being packed so that they can be maintained at predetermined flow rate and pressure level. A column packing method includes the steps of providing a packing controller disposed on the other end of the tubular structure, and permitting the packing controller to variably adjust the flow rate and pressure of the packing material slurry so that they can be maintained at the predetermined flow rate and pressure level.

Chromatography column support
Herein is reported the use of a chromatography column support comprising at least one plane of symmetry, one axis of symmetry, at least three legs, at least three straight connectors, whereby the connectors define a plane that is perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the support, whereby the connectors are connected to each other at the axis of symmetry, whereby each leg is connected to a connector, whereby each leg is perpendicular to the plane defined by the connectors, whereby all legs are on the same side of the plane defined by the connectors for stabilizing the packing of a chromatography column.

ZWITTERIONIC COMPOUNDS AS GAS CHROMATOGRAPHIC COLUMN STATIONARY PHASES
A gas chromatographic (GC) column using a zwitterionic compound and methods of use thereof are disclosed herein. The volatile free acids were observed to strongly retain on these zwitterionic compounds-based columns with excellent peak symmetry. By carefully tuning the structures of these zwitterionic compounds, different selectivity toward volatile free acids was demonstrated. These stationary phases possess a wide working range with thermal stabilities at higher temperatures.

CHROMATOGRAPHY BEADS CONTAINER LIFTING SYSTEM
Disclosed is an equipment including a container filled with chromatography beads for capturing a product present in a process liquid or to prepare them for subsequent use. The equipment also includes a supporting frame standing on the ground and providing support for the container such that the container is spaced above the ground. Outside the container there is provided a lifting system fastened to and supported by the supporting frame and fastened to a part of the container such that the part of the container can be raised by the lifting system relative to the supporting frame and another part of the container. At least part of the lifting system extends aside the container from the bottom to the top of the container.

Column Packing Method
A method for packing a media bed in a column (3). According to the invention the method comprises the steps of: providing data to a control unit (15) connected to the column (3), said data comprising at least a measured slurry concentration, a target bed height, a target packing factor or compression factor and minimum and maximum acceptable values for at least one of target bed height and target packing or compression factor; forcing a movable adapter (9) along a longitudinal axis of the column (3) in order to pack the media; detecting when the media bed is consolidated; the control unit (15) processing the provided data and the information about the consolidated bed height in order to present to the user acceptable bed heights, if there are any, giving acceptable packing or compression factors.
