A dishwasher and a terminal device which creates a washing course to serve a purpose of use based on a user input and provides at least an expected amount of power to be supplied and an expected amount of water to be supplied for the created washing course. The terminal device includes a display for displaying an operating condition of a default washing course of the dishwasher; an input for receiving a command to change the operating condition from a user; and a controller for controlling the display to display at least one of an expected amount of power to be supplied, an expected amount of water to be supplied, and an expected time, which is changed according to a user-set washing course in response to the command received to change the operating condition of the default washing course.

A system includes a dishwasher including a receptacle for an item to be washed, and a control device for carrying out a washing program, which can be parameterized by a number of different washing program parameters. An image-capturing device captures an image of the receptacle and an image analysis unit classifies the item to be washed in the receptacle in dependence on the captured image of the receptacle and to output a classification result to the control device. The control device is designed to parameterize the washing program depending on the classification result.

A dishwasher comprising: a first body; and a second body which includes a rack to hold an object to be washed, a spray nozzle to spray water onto the object, and a washing channel connectable to the spray nozzle, where the second body is coupleable to or coupleable from a top surface of the first body. The first body includes a washing pump to supply water, a supply channel to supply the water to the washing channel, a drain port to receive the water from the second body, and an upper housing which is coupleable to an opening formed at an upper surface of an external support such that so that while the upper housing is coupled to the opening the first body is positioned at a lower end of the upper surface of the external support.

A dishwasher (100) for washing dirty articles comprising: a rotating rack (1) configured to rotate counter-clockwise at a user-defined speed of 1 round per minute or 1/2 round per minute; a spray system (104) configured to dispense a jet stream of high speed water using a plurality of nozzles (106a-106n) from the bottom as well as top of the dirty articles placed on the rotating rack (1); a washing chamber (1b) that may be designed to enable washing of the dirty articles placed upon the rotating rack (1) using the spray system (104), wherein the washing chamber (1b) uses recirculating water; and a rinsing chamber (1c) that may be designed to rinse the washed articles with clean water supplied directly from a house water source; wherein a partition wall (29) between the washing chamber (1b) and the rinsing chamber (1c) prevents splash of water used in the respective chamber.

The confined component may be removably connected to the mating component. The primary beam may be elastically moveable relative to the mating component. The pin may be attached to the beam to move therewith between a flexed position and an original position. The pin may extend from a base end proximal to the primary beam to an outer end distal to the primary beam. The pin may be selectively received within the opening to constrain the primary beam relative to the mating component. The primary beam may be flexible to allow the pin to move inward to the flexed direction and return outward to the original position.

The dishwasher according to an embodiment comprises: a tub having a washing room, in which an object to be washed is accommodated, formed therein; a nozzle which is arranged in the washing room and sprays washing water to the object to be washed, and includes a magnetic body at one end thereof; a coil which his formed to surround a region corresponding to a movable range of the nozzle, and through which an electric current flows according to the rotation of the nozzle; and a controller which controls an operation of the nozzle according to an operation command, and determines an operating status of the nozzle on the basis of a value of the voltage generated in the coil.
