PREPARATIVE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH
A preparative liquid chromatograph includes a liquid chromatograph section, a trap section, an eluent supply section, a collector, and a flow path switching section. The flow path switching section is configured to be selectively switched to a component trap mode that connects the liquid chromatograph section and the trap section in such a way that a sample component separated in a separation column is trapped by a trap column of the trap section; and a collection mode that connects the eluent supply section and the trap section and connects the trap section and the collector in such a way that the components trapped in the trap column are eluted by an eluent from the eluent supply section and are guided to the collector.

SINGLE-USE, DISPOSABLE HIGH-PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY COLUMNS FOR HIGH-THROUGHPUT ANALYSIS
A device for separating one or more molecules of interest in a liquid specimen including a monolithic body defining a fractionation column. The column includes an inlet opening at a proximal end of the fractionation column; an outlet opening at a distal, opposite end of the fractionation column; a solid phase chamber positioned between the inlet opening and the outlet opening; a specimen introduction area adjacent a proximal end of the solid phase chamber; an analyte exit area adjacent a distal end of the solid phase chamber; an inlet chamber adjacent the inlet opening that tapers into the specimen introduction area; and an outlet chamber that extends from the analyte exit area to the outlet opening. A metered amount of solid phase packed within the solid phase chamber between a first porous frit and a second porous frit of the solid phase chamber.
Temporary storage of sample portions for artefact-preventing fluid processing
In a method for processing successive fluidic sample portions provided by a sample source, sample reception volumes are filled successively temporarily with at least a respective one of the sample sections, and the sample sections are emptied successively out of the sample reception volumes in such a way, that, while emptying, it is avoided to bring two respective ones of the sample sections, which have not left the sample source directly adjacent to one another, in contact with one another.

Separation/purification apparatus
A preparative purification apparatus capable of adjusting a mixing ratio of a mobile phase and an elution solvent contained in a solution to be collected. A liquid feeding unit which feeds an elution solvent to an inlet of a trap column; a flow path switching unit which selectively connects an outlet of the trap column to one of a waste liquid flow path or a recovery flow path; a liquid feed amount measurement unit; and a flow path control unit which performs a control such that the flow path switching unit is connected to the recovery flow path when the amount of the elution solvent fed to the trap column reaches a predetermined initial waste liquid amount, and thereafter, the flow path switching unit is connected to the waste liquid flow path at a timing of reaching a predetermined solution recovery amount.
