A dishwashing appliance and a spray assembly, as provided herein, may include a manifold body, and a cammed diverter valve. The manifold body may be mountable within a wash chamber. The manifold body may define a fluid inlet, a first spray zone, and a second spray zone. The first spray zone may include a first spray outlet. The second spray zone may include a second spray outlet spaced apart from the first spray outlet. The cammed diverter valve may be mounted within the manifold body and be movable between a first zone position and a second zone position. The first zone position may direct wash fluid to the first spray zone and restrict wash fluid to the second spray zone. The second zone position may direct wash fluid to the second spray zone and restrict wash fluid to the first spray zone.
SPRINKLER DEVICE FOR DISHWASHERS
A sprinkler device (T) according to the present invention which is suitable for use in a dishwasher (B) comprising a cleaning chamber (B1), for spraying a cleaning fluid onto the dishes by positioning it to rotate about a first axis (E1) comprises a carrier body (T1) which is rotatable about the first axis (E1); a fixed arm (T2) which is located on the carrier body (T1), which is fixed relative to the carrier body (T1) and rotatable with the carrier body (T1), which has a one hole (P) thereon, and through which the cleaning fluid is sprayed on the dishes through the hole (P) to thus rotate the carrier body (T1); a movable arm (T3) which is connected with an edge of the carrier body (T1), a part of which passes through an opening on the edge of the carrier body (T1) and projects from the carrier body (T1), which has a hole (P) thereon, which allows the carrier body (T1) to rotate about the first axis (E1) by spraying, through the hole (P), the cleaning fluid passing therethrough by means of a passage opening on its side facing the carrier bod (T1), which is movable towards the center of the carrier body (T1); a movement mechanism located outside the carrier body (T1), which enables said movement of the movable arm (T3) by means of the rotational movement of the carrier body (T1); and a transmission mechanism which transmits the movement received from the movement mechanism to the movable arm (T3).
A DISHWASHING MACHINE AND METHOD
Dishwashing machine comprising: a controller; a spray arm assembly comprising a spray arm having one or more spray holes for spraying a washing load with water, and a pipe for delivering water to the spray arm; a pump for pumping water through the pipe and to the spray arm; the pipe being constructed and arranged to at least partially restrict flow of water from the pump to at least a part of the spray arm dependent on spray arm orientation relative to the pipe, a power consumption of the pump thereby being dependent at least in part on the spray arm orientation relative to the pipe; and the controller being configured to monitor the power consumption of the pump in order to determine rotational information of the spray arm.
DISHWASHER
An automatic dishwasher with a treating chamber, at least one dish holder, and a sprayer. The sprayer can be coupled to the dish holder and include a set of fan spray nozzles or a set of jet nozzles. The set of fan spray nozzles or the set of jet nozzles fluidly connect the sprayer and treating chamber. One or more angles in which fluid flows from the set of fan spray nozzles or the set of jet nozzles into the treating chamber can be adjusted.
WASH ARM
A wash arm (1) for a commercial dishwasher (50), with a wash arm housing (2) which extends in a longitudinal direction and in which at least one inlet for supplying washing liquid and at least one nozzle opening for spraying the supplied washing liquid are formed, wherein at least one cleaning opening (4) with an assigned opening/closing mechanism (5) is provided preferably at at least one end region of the wash arm housing (2), wherein the opening/closing mechanism (5) is designed to automatically open for thorough rinsing of at least one region of the wash arm housing (2) in particular as required and to automatically close for ending the thorough rinsing of the at least one region of the wash arm housing (2) in particular as required.
PAN CLEANING SYSTEM AND IMPROVED CLEANING STATIONS
A pan cleaning system is provided having a support carriage with one or more track supports and one or more track guides. An indexing conveyor provides a stream of baking pans and indexes the pans onto the support carriage as single pans. One or more twists in the track supports are provided such that the pans admitted by the indexing conveyor are turned at least substantially perpendicular relative to the horizontal plane of the machine. One or more frame assemblies having one or more sets of swing arms mounted on it is provided. With one or more secondary conveyors coupled to th frame assemblies. One or more cleaning subsystems are releasably coupled to the swing arms. A controller is provided where the single baking pan is admitted via the indexing conveyor based on signals from the controller into the one or more track guides as supported by the one or more supports and conveyed by the support carriage along the track guides and into the one or more frame assemblies after the twist turns the pan at least substantially perpendicular and the pan engages the one or more secondary conveyors and the pans is conveyed by the support carriage and the secondary conveyor to one or more cleaning subsystems.
DISHWASHER WITH A SPRAYER
A dish treating appliance for treating dishes according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber with an access opening. A sump is fluidly coupled to the tub. A liquid recirculation circuit fluidly couples the sump to the treating chamber. The liquid recirculation circuit includes a sprayer having an elongated body defining a longitudinal body axis, with an internal fluid passage and a set of spray openings extending through the body to the internal fluid passage. A deflecting assembly has a carrier and a plurality of deflectors coupled to the carrier, with at least some of the deflectors associated with a corresponding spray opening in the set of spray openings.
Dishwasher with rotationally mounted sprayer
A dishwasher has a treating chamber with four corners and a rotatable sprayer located within the treating chamber, where the sprayer includes two conduit segments which rotate about two different axes and a spray head which rotates about yet another axis. The combined rotation of the conduit segments moves the spray head in a non-circular path around the treating chamber.
Dishwasher with image-based fluid condition sensing
An image-based fluid condition sensor is configured to sense turbidity or another condition of fluid in the sump of a dishwasher using an image device positioned outside of the sump.
PAN CLEANING MACHINE AND A METHOD OF OPERATING THE MACHINE TO CLEAN PANS
The invention is directed to an improved pan cleaning machine that has a cleaning section that comprises a plurality of frames for mounting a sequence of interchangeable modular cleaning mechanisms. It can include quick-release mounting arrangements so that cleaning mechanisms can be quickly changed for cleaning different types of pans or to replace brushes or other wearing parts of cleaning mechanisms when they require replacement. In some embodiments, the frames for mounting the cleaning mechanisms can comprise swing arms so that the cleaning mechanisms can be swung away from the cleaning position so that the cleaning mechanism can be removed and replaced without interrupting the operation of the machine. If the machine is stopped, the swing arm can still be used to facilitate access to the cleaning mechanism to reduce the time needed to complete the maintenance or replacement. This also allows the position of the cleaning mechanism in relation to the baking pans to be adjustable during the cleaning process which can permit increased application of brushing forces or prevent overloading and also permits easy jam removal. In addition, the swing arm makes the pan cleaning machine more adaptable for cleaning pans with different depths and customizable. A method of operation and control, including pre-programmed cleaning cycles and various control paradigms is also provided.
