A dispensing device (1) for a door of a dishwasher, includes a support body (2) having first and second, longitudinally adjacent, dispensers (5-7; 9, 10), for a washing agent and a rinse agent, respectively; and an electrically controlled actuator device (13), having a stationary structure (15) and a mobile member (18), coupled to the first dispenser (5-7) such that when the door is closed a first energization of the actuator device (13) causes the dispensing of the washing agent, and coupled to the second dispenser (9, 10) through a transmission mechanism including an interconnecting member (30) which makes the mechanism operative after a first energization of the actuator device (13) after the door is closed, to allow dispensing of the rinse agent by a subsequent energization of the actuator device (13). The interconnecting member (30) has an inactive position in which the mechanism is inoperative when the door is opened.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for monitoring a level of product in a reservoir of a chemical dispensing system. A lid configured to engage an opening of a container includes a level sensor having a transceiver that transmits an output signal and receives a portion of the output signal reflected back to the transceiver. The level sensor determines an amount of the product in the container by comparing a characteristic of the reflected signal, such as time the reflected signal was received, to the characteristic of the output signal, such as the time the output signal was transmitted. The level sensor may also determine the size of the container based on the reflected signal, and take this size into account when determining the amount of product in the container. The level sensor transmits product level data to a mobile device in response to receiving an interrogation signal therefrom.

A dosing system for installation in a domestic dishwasher is disclosed. The dosing system in some embodiments permits the automated delivery of a defined dose of a detergent in powder form into a dishwashing chamber of the dishwasher. It comprises for this purpose a supply chamber for receiving a supply of the detergent and an extracting mechanism for extracting a dose of the detergent from the supply and for delivering the extracted dose into a fall channel. In order to assist with expelling an extracted dose of the detergent powder from the fall channel or/and to accelerate drying of the fall channel, the dosing system in some embodiments includes a fan for generating a blowing air stream which flows through at least parts of the fall channel.

The apparatus, system and method may include: a receiver for receiving the consumable upon inversion thereof; at least one electrical contact within the receiver for communicative association with conductive strips on the consumable; a sensing module communicative with the at least one electrical contact and having associated therewith firmware for converting signals associated with the conductive strips and received at the electrical contact to an indication of the liquid level; a communications module for communicating the liquid level to at least a user display and over at least one network; a power module for powering at least the sensing module and the communications module; and at least one dispensing output in fluid communication with the consumable and capable of dispensing the liquid from the consumable to modify the liquid level.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for monitoring a level of product in a reservoir of a chemical dispensing system.
