The invention concerns a dishwasher machine comprising: a washing chamber delimited by top, bottom and wall surfaces; a door that when closed provides one of the delimiting wall surfaces and when open provides access to the washing chamber; and a detergent dispenser arrangement for dispensing fluid detergent, such as liquid or gel detergent, into the washing chamber during operation of the dishwasher machine, wherein the detergent dispenser arrangement is arranged on one of the wall surfaces and comprises a supply container for the fluid detergent and further comprises a transfer mechanism for transferring fluid detergent from the supply container into the washing chamber and wherein the supply container is adapted to be detachably attachable to the detergent dispenser arrangement. The transfer mechanism comprises a pump unit arranged in fluid communication with the washing chamber and the supply container.

A dish washing machine including a cabinet having a frame defining a periphery of the dish washing machine, with the cabinet having a top, a front, a rear and a pair of sides. A dish washing area is located within the cabinet and includes a nozzle for spraying a liquid onto dishes in the dish washing area. The front of the cabinet has a door for allowing access into the dish washing area. A top wash basin is on the top of the cabinet, with the top wash basin including a spout for water and a sink for accepting liquid therein. A detergent dosing controller that is convenient to use and has better effect is disclosed herein. The invention is applicable to the dosing of detergent for electric washing equipments.

A dishwasher has a treating chamber for receiving dishes for treatment according to an automatic cycle of operation and a dispensing system for storing and dispensing treating chemistry to the treating chamber during the cycle of operation. The dishwasher can be provided with a lifetime supply of a treating chemistry for the dispensing system.

In an embodiment the present invention provides a dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance, in particular a dishwasher, the dispensing device including: a supply container for holding the detergent, the supply container having a reservoir chamber and a metering chamber terminating in a dispensing opening, the metering chamber being provided by a metering element that is movably disposed within the supply container and is movable from a non-metering position to a metering position; and a carrier unit which is rotatable by a motor and is configured to replaceably receive the supply container.

A supply container for placement in a dispensing device of a program-controlled cleaning appliance, in particular a dishwasher, includes a main body providing a volumetric space, the volumetric space being of a size suitable for storing an amount of powdered detergent sufficient for performing a plurality of wash cycles.
