A dosing unit for automatically dosing at least one detergent tablet provided by a storage cartridge for storing a plurality of detergent tablets, for use in an automatic dosing system of a water-bearing household appliance, wherein the storage cartridge comprises a container with a bottom side forming an inclination angle with a horizontal direction when the dosing unit is arranged as intended for use, wherein an outlet is formed in the container at a lower end of the bottom side, such that detergent tablets on the bottom side move towards the outlet driven by gravity (G), and wherein a dosing device is attached to the storage cartridge on the outlet, the dosing device including a scoop and a plug, wherein the scoop is configured to separate a detergent tablet from the plurality and transport the separated detergent tablet to a receiving chamber formed in the plug when the scoop is turned in a first turning direction about a rotational axis (X) that is parallel to the bottom side, and the plug is configured to release the detergent tablet from the receiving chamber.

A dosing device (D) includes an electrically controlled valve device (7, 17) driven at each operating cycle of the machine with a first short pulse for the actuation of another function and then with a subsequent second long pulse to put the dosing chamber (4) in communication with the main chamber (2) and then causing the dispensing of a dose of washing agent from the dosing chamber (4) to the washing chamber (12). The valve device controls the communication between the intermediate chamber (18) and the dosing chamber (4) whereby the first impulse is able to put the intermediate chamber (18) in communication with the dosing chamber (4) for a short time, causing a partial discharge of the air bubble from the intermediate chamber (18) to the dosing chamber (4) and a corresponding increase in the amount of washing agent contained in the intermediate chamber (18), and the second impulse is adapted to put the intermediate chamber (18) in communication with the dosing chamber (4) for a longer time, adapted to allow the storage of a dose of washing agent in the dosing chamber (4) and, after exhausting the second impulse , the dispensing of the dose of washing agent stored in the dosing chamber (4).

A dishwasher has a treating chamber for receiving dishes for treatment according to an automatic cycle of operation and a dispensing system for storing and dispensing a treating chemistry to the treating chamber during the cycle of operation. The dishwasher may dispense a treating chemistry when a temperature of a liquid in the treating chamber satisfies a predetermined temperature threshold. The temperature of the liquid may be maintained to satisfy the predetermined temperature threshold for a predetermined period of time based on the treating chemistry.

A cleaner cartridge for a household dishwasher includes active substances for cleaning items to be washed and/or the household dishwasher. The product package includes an internally integrated fluid pump, and the dispenser includes a drive unit powered by flow of a fluid. Flow of the fluid powers the drive unit, which in turn drives the pump internal to the product package, resulting in dispensation of the fluid product in a product/fluid ratio that is independent of the fluid flow rate.

The device comprises at least two chambers. Each chamber contains a treating composition. The chambers are activated in response to input from a sensor. The device has an associated reservoir for collection of wash liquor.

A cartridge for a water-conducting domestic appliance, in particular a domestic dishwasher, which has a detergent dosing system having at least one detergent dispenser for receiving at least one cartridge, wherein the cartridge has separate chambers for storing at least two detergents, the cartridge including a cartridge housing having at least two chambers formed therein, wherein each chamber has a storage capacity for storing detergent which is greater than the quantities required for one washing cycle.

A household appliance, such as dishwasher, includes a bulk unit-dose dispenser configured to hold multiple unit doses of treating chemistry and dispense the treating chemistry at the appropriate time in a cycle of operation. The bulk unit-dose dispenser can include a multiple compartments moveable along a track, and the compartments can be sequentially moved into registry with a dispensing opening of the appliance.
