DETERGENT DISPENSING APPARATUS AND DISH WASHER
A detergent dispensing apparatus 3 used for a dish washer and a dish washer comprising the detergent dispensing apparatus 3. The detergent dispensing apparatus 3 comprises a liquid storage box, a liquid outlet pump 32 and a pipeline module. The liquid storage box comprises a first half housing and a second half housing, and the first half housing and the second half housing fixedly connect each other in a first direction so as to define a liquid storage cavity used for storing detergent. The liquid outlet pump 32 is configured to suction the detergent from the liquid storage cavity and dispense the detergent to the exterior of the detergent dispensing apparatus 3. The pipeline module comprises a liquid adding channel used for adding the detergent to the liquid storage cavity, a liquid inlet channel used by the liquid outlet pump 32 for extracting the detergent from the liquid storage cavity, and a liquid outlet channel used by the liquid outlet pump 32 for dispensing the detergent. The second half housing defines at least a portion of a pump accommodating space that is used for accommodating the liquid outlet pump.
DETERGENT CARTRIDGE FOR A DISHWASHER
A detergent dispenser may be positioned to dispense detergent into a wash tub of a household appliance. The detergent dispenser may include a detergent cartridge. The detergent cartridge may include a detergent strip having a plurality of detergents. One or more ejection mechanisms may be used to expel the detergent from the detergent strip through an outlet of the detergent cartridge.
Domestic dishwasher and dosing system therefor
A dosing system for installation in a domestic dishwasher is disclosed. The dosing system in some embodiments permits the automated delivery of a defined dose of a detergent in powder form into a dishwashing chamber of the dishwasher. It comprises for this purpose a supply chamber for receiving a supply of the detergent and an extracting mechanism for extracting a dose of the detergent from the supply and for delivering the extracted dose into a fall channel. In order to assist with expelling an extracted dose of the detergent powder from the fall channel or/and to accelerate drying of the fall channel, the dosing system in some embodiments includes a fan for generating a blowing air stream which flows through at least parts of the fall channel.

A method for operating a water-bearing household appliance for treating articles, in particular a dishwasher or washing machine, the water-bearing household appliance including a treatment chamber for treating the articles with a washing liquor and a dosing system for dispensing a dosing-amount of detergent provided by a dosing unit, the method comprising: selecting one of a plurality of different treatment cycles, controlling the water-bearing household appliance to perform the selected treatment cycle, actuating the dosing system to dispense the dosing-amount of detergent according to the selected treatment cycle, detecting a sensor signal of the dispensed dosing-amount of detergent, adjusting the selected treatment cycle as a function of the detected sensor signal, and controlling the water-bearing household appliance to perform the adjusted treatment cycle.
DOSING OF A SOLID DETERGENT IN A DOMESTIC DISHWASHING MACHINE
A domestic dishwashing machine includes a dishwashing container, a door, pivotably mounted on the dishwashing container, for closing a dishwashing chamber formed in the dishwashing container, and a dosing system, arranged at the door, for a solid detergent, for example, in tablet form. The dosing system may include an annular magazine having a rotatably arranged rotor which delimits a plurality of radially outwardly open storage compartments, distributed in the circumferential direction, which are each to receive a detergent tablet. In some embodiments, a chute is arranged beneath the rotor, and the chute allows a detergent tablet which has fallen into the chute to fall freely to an outlet opening at which the detergent tablet can pass into the dishwashing chamber. By rotation of the rotor, a storage compartment filled with a detergent tablet can move into a position radially opposite a dosing opening, at which the chute begins.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for monitoring a level of product (14) in a reservoir (10, 130, 140, 190, 260) of a chemical dispensing system. A lid (22, 148, 216, 302, 358) configured to engage an opening (28, 136, 138, 146, 204, 352) of a container (12, 198, 354) includes a level sensor (26, 244, 272, 342, 386) having a transceiver (36) that transmits an output signal (38) and receives a portion of the output signal (38) reflected back (42) to the transceiver (36). The level sensor (26, 244, 272, 342, 386) determines an amount of the product (14) in the container (12, 198, 354) by comparing a characteristic of the reflected signal (42), such as time the reflected signal (42) was received, to the characteristic of the output signal (38), such as the time the output signal (38) was transmitted. The level sensor (26, 244, 272, 342, 386) may also determine the size of the container (12, 198, 354) based on the reflected signal (42), and take this size into account when determining the amount of product (14) in the container (12, 198, 354). The level sensor (26, 244, 272, 342, 386) transmits product level data to a mobile device (54) in response to receiving an interrogation signal (66) therefrom.
Dishwasher with rotary blister pack dispenser
A dishwasher with a rotary multiple use detergent dispenser is disclosed. The rotary multiple use detergent dispenser may include a blister pack having a plurality of detergents. One or more components of the detergent dispenser may be used to dispense/expel the plurality of detergents from the blister pack into a wash tub of the dishwasher.
A WASHING AGENT DISPENSER FOR DISHWASHING MACHINES
A washing agent dispenser for washing machines has a dispenser body that comprises a fixed dispenser part (200), designed for mounting on a wall delimiting a washing machine wash-chamber (3), and a removable dispenser part, couplable in a removable way to the fixed dispenser part (200). The removable dispenser part comprises a hollow body defining a tank for a substance in liquid or semi-solid form, with a first wall of the hollow body which is intended to face at least partially a second wall of the fixed dispenser part (200).
The dispenser (10) also comprises a sensor device (270), configured to provide an electrical signal representative of at least one of a level and a qualitative characteristic of the substance contained within the at least one tank. The sensor device (270) is arranged at least partly on the fixed dispenser part (200).
WASHING AGENT DISPENSER FOR DISHWASHING MACHINES
A dispenser of washing agents for washing machines has a first tank, to contain a first washing agent, and a first dispensing arrangement, to dispense first dosed amounts of the first washing agent. The first dispensing arrangement comprises a peristaltic pump, which is configured to be driven in a first direction of rotation to cause delivery of the first dosed amounts of the first washing agent. The dispenser comprises a second tank, to contain a second washing agent, and a second dispensing arrangement, to dispense second dosed amounts of the second washing agent. The peristaltic pump has a command arrangement of the second dispensing arrangement, and is configured to be driven in a second direction of rotation, to drive the command arrangement so as to cause dispensing of the second dosed amounts of the second washing agent.
