CLEANING POD FOR ELECTRIC BLENDER AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Disclosed herein is a method of cleaning a jar of an electric blender. The method comprises inserting a cleaning pod into the jar of the electric blender. The cleaning pod comprises at least one cleaning agent comprising a detergent. The method also comprises adding water into the jar to submerse the cleaning pod. The method further comprises rotating blades of the electric blender to mix the detergent of the cleaning pod with the water to form a mixture. The method additionally comprises circulating the mixture in the jar via rotation of the blades to remove residue, on interior surfaces of the jar and/or the blades, from the interior surfaces and to add removed residue to the mixture. The method also comprises removing the mixture from the jar after the residue is added to the mixture.
Tablet dosing system and water-carrying domestic cleaning apparatus equipped therewith
A tablet dosing system, in particular for a domestic dishwasher, includes a magazine for stocking cleaning tablets in a plurality of stacks arranged side by side in a row, and an extractor for extracting cleaning tablets from the magazine. The extractor comprises an extractor member which is arranged to be movable relative to the magazine and which is adapted, without changing the position of the stacks, to serve each of the stacks for the purpose of extracting cleaning tablets. The extractor member is in the form of an extractor roller having a plurality of extraction pockets distributed along the roller axis for each receiving at least one cleaning tablet from the stacks or the extractor member is in the form of a linearly movable extractor slider which is able to serve two adjacent stacks alternately for the purpose of tablet extraction.

A detergent dispenser may be positioned to dispense detergent into a wash tub of a household appliance, and may include: a detergent carrier with a plurality of detergent units, each of the detergent units including one or more walls defining a cavity with a dispensing opening, and a door movable between an open and closed position; a housing for receiving the detergent carrier, the housing including a dispensing outlet; a carrier driver for moving the detergent carrier between a plurality of positions, each position orienting one of the dispensing units proximate the dispensing outlet, where when one of the dispensing units is proximate the dispensing outlet the door of the one of the plurality of dispensing units is open, otherwise the door is closed.
SUPPLY CONTAINER FOR A DISPENSING DEVICE
A supply container for a dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance, the dispensing device including a rotatable carrier unit, the supply container being replaceably receivable in the carrier unit. The supply container includes: a reservoir chamber; a dispensing opening; a metering chamber connectable to the reservoir chamber via an interposed outlet opening; and a closure device configured to close the outlet opening at least until the supply container is first put into use. The closure device is configured to cooperate with an actuating device to open the outlet opening to provide a flow path of the detergent from the reservoir chamber into the treatment chamber of the appliance via the metering chamber and the dispensing opening.

In an embodiment the present invention provides a dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance, in particular a dishwasher, the dispensing device including: a supply container for holding the detergent, the supply container having a reservoir chamber and a metering chamber terminating in a dispensing opening, the metering chamber being provided by a metering element that is movably disposed within the supply container and is movable from a non-metering position to a metering position; and a carrier unit which is rotatable by a motor and is configured to replaceably receive the supply container.

A dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance includes: a supply container for holding the detergent, the supply container having a reservoir chamber and a metering chamber terminating in a dispensing opening, the metering chamber being fluidically connected to the reservoir chamber via an interposed passage opening; a carrier unit which is rotatable by a motor and replaceably receives the supply container; and a closure device that closes the passage opening at least until the supply container is first put into use.

The system includes a dosing device, at least one energy source, a control unit, a sensor unit, and at least two cartridges for respectively accommodating at least one of the cleaning and/or care agents.
