Yet further, the device includes an additional collection component configured to collect an additional portion of the midstream urine sample for central laboratory testing.

Test strip ejector for medical device

A system for receiving and ejecting a fluid testing device test strip includes a strip connector having first and second guide rails, and divider walls each having a channel. A sled has first and second legs connected to a cross member. Each leg has a contact leg extending inwardly from a chamfered end. The first and second legs when positioned parallel to the guide rails have the contact leg captured in the divider wall channels retaining the sled in sliding contact with the guide rails for motions in loading and ejection directions. A mechanism assembly is movably connected to the fluid testing device. The cross member is coupled so operation in a first direction displaces the sled in the loading direction positioning the sled in a test strip test position, and opposite operation positions the contact legs in direct contact with and ejects the test strip.

GALACTOSE RAPID QUANTITATIVE DETECTION SYSTEM AND USE THEREOF

A galactose rapid detection system has a galactose composition including a galactose, a buffer solution and an 0-99% antioxidant, which enters a human body after metabolism and produces a biological sample; a test strip or a filter paper, comprising an enzyme, the enzyme would react with the biological sample producing a electrochemical information ;a meter including a power supply unit for providing a signal; a connector for receiving the signal provided by the power supply unit, transmitting the signal to the test strip or the filter paper, wherein the signal reacting with the electrochemical information produce a corresponding response signal, and the connector transmit the corresponding response signal to the meter; a calculation unit for calculating the corresponding response signal; an A/D convertor for receiving the corresponding response signal from the calculation unit, transforming the corresponding response signal into a digital reaction signal calculated by the calculation unit; and a processor for processing the digital reaction signal a display for displaying the digital reaction signal; and a digital terminal for receiving the digital reaction signal.

DIAGNOSTIC TEST DEVICE WITH PATTERNED MATERIAL SPOTS

A test device is configured for diagnostic testing and includes an optical readable medium, in turn including a pattern of spots of material arranged on a surface of the device. Several patterns may be provided. The patterns accordingly formed may be human and/or machine readable. They may notably encode security information, e.g., indicating whether the device has already been used. The spots may notably be inkjet spotted. In addition, a method is provided for decoding information encoded in a pattern of such a test device. In embodiments, liquid is introduced in the device, which comprises additional spots having a substantially different solubility than spots forming the actual pattern. Thus, the additional spots get solubilized in and flushed by the liquid as the latter wets them, and an initially hidden pattern may be read, which is formed of the remaining spots (not solubilized). Encoding methods are also provided.

Testkit for laboratory diagnostics

A device for incubating an immunoblot strip (6) includes at least one incubation channel (1) into which an elongate immunoblot strip (6) having at least one biological material on its front is inserted with its back facing a channel base (2). An agitating means (7), with which the immunoblot strip (6) is agitatable around a transverse axis (8) of the strip (6) at least at times during incubation via an agitating device (7). For handling and/or grouping incubation channels (1) with immunoblot strips (6) inserted, a rack (3) for taking up at least two incubation channels (1) is provided. The rack (3) is in operative connection with said agitating means (7) via load transmission points.
