TECHNIQUES FOR EVALUATING ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENT PERFORMANCE
Techniques and apparatus for evaluating analytical device performance and data quality are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may include at least one memory, and logic coupled to the at least one memory. The logic may be configured to generate an analysis method to be performed by an analytical device, the analysis method comprising a plurality of method segments comprising at least one performance assessment process and at least one sample analysis process, and link the at least one performance assessment process with the at least one sample analysis process. Other embodiments are described.
INDICATING A STATUS OF AN ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENT ON A SCREEN OF THE ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENT
The present disclosure describes a method, a system, and a computer program product of indicating a status of an analytical instrument on a screen of the analytical instrument. In an embodiment, the method, the system, and the computer program product include receiving data from an analytical instrument monitoring a liquid sample, segmenting the received data into data segments for at least two characteristics of at least one of the instrument, the sample, and an operating environment of the instrument, analyzing each of the data segments for the at least two characteristics, retrieving threshold values for the at least two characteristics from a computer data source, calculating at least one status of at least one of the instrument, the sample, and the operating environment, with respect to the analyzed data segments and the threshold values, and displaying the at least one status on a display of the instrument.
COVERSLIPPING MACHINE
A coverslipping machine (1) is embodied to be connected to an electrical power grid in order to be supplied with electrical energy as an electrical load; and removes specimen slides (4), having samples present thereon, from a specimen slide magazine (5) and respectively carries out a coverslipping process in which a mounting medium (7) and then a coverslip (8) are applied onto each specimen slide (4); and deposits the coverslipped specimen slides (4) in the specimen slide magazine (5) or in a further specimen slide magazine (55). The coverslipping machine (1) has an electrical energy reservoir (12) and an electronic control apparatus (13). The electronic control apparatus (13) detects disruptions in the supply of electrical energy from the power grid and, in the event of a disruption, switches over to a withdrawal of electrical energy from the electrical energy reservoir (12), and carries out a safety routine that includes at least the safety steps of completing the coverslipping of specimen slides (4) already equipped with the mounting medium (7), and then depositing them in the specimen slide magazine (5) or in the further specimen slide magazine (55).
Automated analysis device
Provided is an automatic analyzer capable of replacing an insertion mechanism while suppressing occurrence of dispensing abnormality and analysis result abnormality accompanying deterioration of the insertion mechanism. Included are an insertion mechanism that is inserted into a closed container through a lid of the container; a storage unit that stores an insertion history count corresponding to a cumulative load of the insertion mechanism caused by inserting the insertion mechanism into a plurality of the containers, and an allowable insertion history count which is an allowable value of the insertion history count; and a control unit that compares the insertion history count with the allowable insertion history count and performs control to make a notification to an operator in a case where the insertion history count reaches the allowable insertion history count.
AUTOMATED ANALYSIS SYSTEM
Reducing screen shift operations performed in confirming a device status of an automated analysis device efficiently enhances inspection work. A tablet terminal is used to obtain device information indicating the device status of an automated analysis device and to create and display a status confirmation screen indicating the device status based on the obtained device information. The status confirmation screen has a first display area showing each device button corresponding to each of the automated analysis devices coupled to the tablet terminal and a second display area showing the device status of the automated analysis devices corresponding to the selected device button. Based on the device information of the automated analysis device corresponding to the selected device button, the information management unit creates a status screen indicating the device status in the automated analysis device and controls the display to show the status screen.
Automatic analysis apparatus
An automatic analysis apparatus is capable of replacing circulated water in a reaction vessel and continuously cooling a light source lamp without stopping an operation for measuring a specimen. In an operation state, a drain electromagnetic valve 49 is opened to drain reaction vessel water outside and when the water level reaches a measurement limit water level, the drain electromagnetic valve 49 is closed. The reaction vessel water is supplied by starting a water supply pump, opening a water supply electromagnetic valve and when the water level has reached a full water level, the water supply electromagnetic valve is closed, and the water supply pump is stopped. In a state other than the operation state, the reaction vessel water is drained outside. When the water level has reached a circulation limit water level, the drain electromagnetic valve is closed.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN ANALYSIS DEVICE AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM
Analysis systems and methods for testing a biological sample is provided, wherein the inclination is monitored and/or a light strip is provided as a display apparatus that signals an operating state or a requirement.
ACCURACY MANAGEMENT METHOD, HOLDING TOOL, AND MEASUREMENT DEVICE
