The slide rack carousel includes a base having an interior portion of its upper surface at an angle. The slide rack carousel also includes plural rack spacers extending upward from the base and adjacent rack spacers define a rack slot. Each rack spacer also includes a rack stopper on each side such that adjacent rack spacers have rack stoppers facing each other. The rack stoppers prevent a slide rack from moving further toward the center of the carousel than desired.
LOADING DEVICE FOR LOADING A REAGENT ROTOR OF AN ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENT WITH REAGENT VESSELS AND ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENT
A loading device for loading a reagent rotor of an analytical instrument with reagent vessels is disclosed. The loading device comprises a tray to receive reagent vessels. The tray moves within a first plane at least between a loading position, at which the tray is loadable with the reagent vessels, and an unloading position, at which the reagent vessels are unloadable from the tray. The loading device also comprises a transporting device for transporting the reagent vessels from the tray to the reagent rotor of the analytical instrument. The tray is formed such that the transporting device is linearly moveable within a second plane from the unloading position of the tray to the reagent rotor and/or from the reagent rotor to the unloading position of the tray. The first plane and the second plane are different from one another. The tray is formed as a circular ring segment.

ROTATABLE TUBE RACK HOLDER AND TUBE RACK ROTATOR DEVICE FOR TUBE RACKS
The present disclosure relates to a rotatable tube rack holder for a tube rack rotator device, comprising: one or more plate(s) extending radially from an axis of rotation; one or more compartment(s) for tightly holding one or more tube rack(s) configured to hold a plurality of tubes, said compartment(s) is/are attached to at least one side of said plate(s); and one locking mechanism for each of said compartment and configured such that when said tube rack(s) holding a plurality of said tubes is/are placed inside said compartment, said tubes are restricted from moving in a direction perpendicular to said plate.
Method for holding multiple types of diagnostic test consumables in a random access single container
An immunodiagnostic test method includes holding a selection of immunological test elements or consumables in one or more containers attached to or positioned in the analyzer and providing random access to any test element therein. The container can hold multiple types of test elements in compartments or slots. Through sensing of a test element position in its slot, the detection mechanism of the invention provides for random access to multiple types of test elements in any sleeve and within a single sleeve, and provides efficient inventory control. The method increases the number of test element types that may be loaded onto an analyzer and maintains fast determination of inventory.
