Controller and image processing system
A controller includes a specifying part and a reception part. The specifying part specifies positions where the illumination units are connected. The reception part presents a lightable area and an unlightable area in different modes based on the positions where the illumination units are connected, the positions being specified by the specifying part. The reception part receives settings of the lighting conditions for the lightable area.
SENSOR DEVICE FOR CONTAINERS OF LIQUID SUBSTANCES
An optical sensor device for detection of a characteristic of a liquid substance comprises a device body having an inner surface and an outer surface, one portion of the outer surface of the device body being designed to be in contact with the liquid substance, and the inner surface of the device body being designed to be isolated from the liquid substance.
Associated to the device body is a detection arrangement, which comprises an emitter and a receiver of a given optical radiation. A first portion of the device body is made of a material designed for propagation of the given optical radiation, the emitter and the receiver being optically coupled to the inner surface of the device body in the first portion. The first portion of the device body is shaped to contribute to propagation of the given optical radiation, from the emitter to the receiver, in such a way that the given optical radiation is propagated through the first portion of the device body towards the receiver, at an angle and/or with an intensity that are/is variable as a function of a characteristic of the liquid substance.
The detection arrangement comprises an optical module, which includes a structure for support and electrical connection of the emitter and the receiver, which is configured as a part separate from the device body. The supporting and electrical-connection structure includes a plurality of bodies made of electrically insulating material overmoulded on electrical-connection elements made of electrically conductive material.
System and method for acquiring images of surface texture
This invention provides a vision system camera assembly that includes an optics and illumination module that is removably attached thereto, and that is arranged to project illumination along an optical axis of the imager. This arrangement allows for short exposure time and a short working distance from an imaged scene/surface under inspection. A semi-reflecting mirror turns a structured illumination beam from an illumination axis onto the optical axis while allowing light from the imaged scene to pass through the mirror and into the imager optics. The front end of the module contains a collimating optics that causes a collimated beam from the mirror to strike the surface at various off-axis angles. The collimating optics can include a telecentric lens assembly that can comprise a pair of stacked lenses having a perimeter that is equal to or greater than the area of interest on the surface.
Modular photoacoustic detection device
Modular photoacoustic detection device comprising: a photoacoustic cell including at least two chambers connected by at least two capillaries and forming a Helmholtz type differential acoustic resonator; acoustic detectors coupled to the chambers; a light source capable of emitting a light beam having at least one wavelength capable of exciting a gas intended to be detected and which can be modulated to a resonance frequency of the photoacoustic cell; a first photonic circuit optically coupling the light source to an input face of a first of the chambers; wherein the first photonic circuit is arranged in a detachable manner in a first housing formed in the acoustic cell and emerging on the input face of the first chamber.
