Apparatus for quickly displaying coronavirus test result
The present invention teaches an apparatus for consistent and accurate on-site readings of fluorescence signals of coronavirus test result, with which a user directly reads a fluorescent light qualitatively instead of using electronic sensors. The fluorescent light is excited from a fluorescent source in a site of interest in a target assay. The device comprises a light source for generating an excitation light for exciting the fluorescent source of the target assay to generate a fluorescent light, a component for accurately transmitting the excitation light and the fluorescent light with less noise or reflection, a component for consistent detecting of the fluorescent source by bare eyes with minimal health risks, and a user control system that requires minimal training.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND OPTICAL SENSOR
An image forming apparatus includes an optical sensor configured to detect an image formed on an intermediate transfer belt. The optical sensor includes a first LED, a second LED, a first PD, and a second PD on a substrate. The first PD is arranged at a position at which specularly reflected light of light emitted from the first LED can be received, and scattered reflected light of light emitted from the second LED can be received. The second PD is arranged at a position at which scattered reflected light of light emitted from the second LED can be received. A light receiving surface of the first PD and a light receiving surface of the second PD are formed at different angles. The light receiving surface of the first PD has an area that is smaller than an area of the light receiving surface of the second PD.
Quality measurement method and quality measurement device for long sheet material
The quality measurement method for a long sheet material W includes measuring cellulose fibers, % moisture, and % ash of the paper web W by using area cameras 1102 to 1106 having an infrared light receiving element and a light source 1100 having an infrared light emitting LED element. Performance check for the infrared cameras 1102 to 1106 over the entire width and correction of measured values are performed by using consistency between measured values for the same point in an overlap area measured by adjacent cameras and reference samples 1107 at the off-sheet positions provided at both sides.
CIRCUIT BOARD WITH ONBOARD LIGHT SOURCES
A reagent analyzer having a circuit board, an imaging system and a processor is disclosed. The circuit board has a substrate, and a plurality of conductive leads. The substrate has a first and a second major surface. The first major surface is opposite the second major surface. The substrate has an opening extending between the first major surface and the second major surface. The reagent analyzer also includes an imaging system having a field of view extending through the opening formed in the substrate and configured to capture an image of a wet reagent test device positioned at a read position in the field of view, the image having a plurality of pixels. The processor is configured to receive the image, and to analyze pixels of the image to determine a presence or an absence of a target constituent being in a sample applied to the wet reagent pad.
Multiplexed Biological Assay Device with Electronic Readout
This invention relates generally to devices, systems, and methods for performing biological assays by using indicators that modify one or more optical properties of the assayed biological samples. The subject methods include generating a reaction product by carrying out a biochemical reaction on the biological sample introduced into a device and reacting the reaction product with an indicator capable of generating a detectable change in an optical property of the biological sample to indicate the presence, absence, or amount of analyte suspected to be present in the sample.
NON-INVASIVE MEASUREMENT OF PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OR SUBSTANCE CONCENTRATIONS IN HUMAN TISSUE
A device for optical detection of analytes in a sample includes at least two optoelectronic components. The optoelectronic components include at least one optical detector configured to receive a photon and at least one optical emitter configured to emit a photon. The at least one optical emitter includes at least three optical emitters disposed in a flat, non-linear arrangement, and the at least one optical detector includes at least three optical detectors disposed in a flat, non-linear arrangement. The at least three optical emitters and the at least three optical detectors include at least three different wavelength characteristics.
Method and device for detecting plastic foreign objects with low chromaticity difference in shredded tobacco through online pulse spectral imaging
A method and a device for detecting plastic foreign objects with low chromaticity difference in shredded tobacco through online pulse spectral imaging are provided. The method includes three steps: negative pressure thin-layer loading of shredded tobacco, pulse line-scanning identification of shredded tobacco, and positive pressure online elimination of foreign objects. Loose shredded tobacco is formed into a fixed and continuous thin layer on a surface of a conveying cylinder under the effect of a negative pressure adsorption force. The surface of the conveying cylinder is coded by areas. An LED linear array light source containing characteristic wavelengths of plastics with low chromaticity difference emits optical pulses, and a line-scanning camera is used to obtain characteristic signals of the plastic foreign objects with low chromaticity difference efficiently in real time.
APPARATUS FOR MEASURING MULTI-WAVELENGTH TRANSMITTANCE USING LEARNED LED TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION MODEL
A device to measure the amount of light able to transmit through a liquid. The device uses a light detector and multiple light emitting diodes (LED's) along with an optical unit such that the light detector, LED's, and an optical unit define a path of light emitted by each individual LED or subgroup of LED's and detected by the detector. The device uses a structure designed to surround the LED's and light detector such that the structure allows the device to be immersed in the liquid and such that the structure is shaped to allow a volume of liquid to be between the LED's and detector, intersecting the light path.
