A carrier for one or more straws of an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The carrier and/or rack may be in fluid communication with one or more spray elements when in a stowed position within a dishwasher tub. The one or more carriers may route fluid from the one or more spray elements to wash an interior and/or an exterior of at least one straw. The carrier may include one or more bridges projecting inwardly towards the one or more straws defining one or more pathways for received fluid. The body of the carrier may include a lid and/or latch. The carrier may be adjustable to engage one or more straws of varying lengths. The carrier may include an adjustable end and a fixed end. The carrier may include a biasing mechanism.

Disclosed are a rack assembly capable of enhancing usability by improving a rack assembly structure, and a dishwasher having the rack assembly. The dishwasher includes: a washing tub; and a rack assembly provided inside the washing tub, wherein the rack assembly includes: a frame; a tray on which dishes are accommodated and which is movably supported on the frame; and a link unit connecting the frame to the tray and moving the tray to one of a first location and a second location that is lower than the first location, the link unit being rotatably coupled with the frame and the tray.

A dishwasher includes a storage part in which a washing target is stored. The storage part includes a base formed by crossing a plurality of horizontal bars and a plurality of vertical bars, a supporter portion coupled to the base and having a hollow formed therein, and a holder portion secured to the supporter portion and configured to be rotatable with respect to the supporter portion. The holder portion is configured to maintain a posture set with respect to the supporter portion by pressurizing the supporter portion.

Adjacent panels along a transverse direction of the dishwasher appliance form a pivotable connection at the longitudinal sides between adjacent panels that allow adjacent panels to collapse or fold towards each other such that the upper rack assembly may be selectively collapsed or extended along the transverse direction by movement of the plurality of panels towards or away from each other.
Dish rack
A dish rack includes a dish basket and a storage surface which is attachable to the dish basket for holding an item to be washed and lockable on the dish basket. The storage surface is pivotable about an axis into different angles of inclination and able to slide along the axis. A support element is arranged on an underside of the storage surface and supports the storage surface at the different angles of inclination at a point spaced from the axis. The support element has a number of locking steps in which the support element engages the dish basket so as to support the storage surface at the different angles of inclination.

A dish washer includes: a basket; a first supporting member coupled to the basket in such a way to be rotatable between a first position of being folded to the basket and a second position of being unfolded from the basket; a second supporting member positioned below the first supporting member and coupled to the basket in such a way to be rotatable between a third position of being folded to the basket and a fourth position of being unfolded from the basket; and a connecting member rotating the second supporting member from the third position to the fourth position when the first supporting member rotates from the first position to the second position, wherein one end of the connecting member is connected to the first supporting member and the other end of the connecting member is connected to the second supporting member.

Provided herein are cutlery racks, dishwashers, and associated methods for manufacturing and cleaning with the same. The dishwasher may include a cutlery rack having a first engaging portion, a second engaging portion, and a shelf. The first and second engaging portions may be respectively slidably attached to a first wall and a second wall of a dishwasher rack. The shelf may extend between the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion, may slide in a longitudinal direction with respect to the first wall and the second wall, and may pivot with respect to the dishwasher rack between a working position and a stowed position. In the working position, a receiving surface of the shelf may align with the longitudinal direction, and in the stowed position, the receiving surface shelf may be pivoted out of alignment with the longitudinal direction and positioned adjacent ends of the first and second walls.
