EASY LOADING SILVERWARE BASKET
A dishwasher system for cleaning dishes may include at least one rack configured to receive a silverware basket, the basket including a plurality of partitions creating a plurality of cavities within the basket for receiving utensils for washing, where each cavity includes a separate and distinct base at a bottom of the basket that is vertically movable within the cavity, a camshaft fixed to the rack and operable by a gearbox configured to rotate the camshaft with respect to the rack, the camshaft arranged below the silverware basket, and a plurality of cams extending along the camshaft, at least one cam being arranged below each cavity, wherein upon rotation of the camshaft by the gearbox, each cam affects the height of the respective base to allow the utensils in the respective cavity to be intermittently lifted and exposed to spray from sprayers within the dishwasher.
SOFT START-STOP RACK ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
In general terms, the present invention relates to a soft transition rack adjustment mechanism that is designed to be used in dishwashers with one or a multitude of superimposed products receiving racks and that comprises a secure, three-stage movement system that protects the items therein. The present invention relates to both performing transitions between stages and ensuring that these transitions are made in a soft and controlled manner by means of an infinite-life, stainless plastic spring that is positioned inside the inventive rack adjustment mechanism, and that does not require any additional components, nor creates any additional costs.
Dishwasher rack height adjustment device
A dishwasher is disclosed that may include a washing chamber, a rack, and a bracket. The rack may be slidably arranged in relation to the bracket to provide different vertical positions of the rack in relation to the washing chamber. The dishwasher may include a securing mechanism configured to secure the rack in relation to the bracket, in at least a first vertical position of the rack in relation to the washing chamber. The securing mechanism may include a protruding element and a tapered portion. The protruding element may be arranged to extend into the tapered portion when the rack is in the first vertical position. The tapered portion may be arranged to prevent movement of the protruding element through the tapered portion to secure the rack in relation to the bracket.
ARTICLE HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
An article holder assembly for use in a dishwasher appliance includes a first attachment arm for securing to a first side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, a second attachment arm for securing to an opposing, second side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, and at least one article positioning arm secured between the first and second attachment arms. The article positioning arm(s) is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. Thus, the article positioning arm(s) defines a predefined geometry configured to receive a portion of one or more articles for cleaning in the dishwasher appliance. Further, when the article positioning arm(s) is in the engaged position, the predefined geometry positions and secures one or more of the articles on a rack of the dishwasher appliance for cleaning.
ADJUSTABLE RACK ASSEMBLY AND DISHWASHING APPLIANCE
A dishwashing appliance or rack assembly may include a rack, a front bracket, a rear bracket, and a joiner bar. The rack may include a sidewall having a transverse rail and slide in a transverse direction between an extended position and a retracted position. The front bracket may be attached to the sidewall and extend vertically between a fixed end secured to the sidewall and a free end laterally pivotable apart from the transverse rail. The rear bracket may be attached to the sidewall rearward from the front bracket. The rear bracket may extend vertically from a fixed end secured to the sidewall to a free end laterally pivotable apart from the transverse rail. The joiner bar may extend along the transverse direction from the front bracket to the rear bracket and be laterally translatable relative to the transverse rail to motivate the free end of the front bracket.
DISHWASHER CHOPSTICK TRAY
An automatic dishwashing device may include a tub defining a hollow dishwashing cavity having a back, top, bottom, and two sides and is accessible via an access opening at a front of the cavity, a rack slidably disposed within the tub and moveable in a longitudinal direction between a stored position within the tub to an extended position where the rack extends outside of the tub, and a tray slidably engaged with the rack for sliding movement in the longitudinal direction, wherein the tray is configured to selectively remain partially within the tub when the rack is in the extended position or extend outside the tub when the rack is in the extended position.
DISHWASHER WITH TRAY
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation. The dishwasher including a lower dish rack and an upper dish rack located above the lower dish rack and having an opening overlying the portion of the lower dish rack and a repositionable tray carried by the upper dish rack and movable between a first position and a second position relative to the opening.
RACK ASSEMBLY AND DISHWASHER HAVING SAME
Disclosed are a rack assembly capable of enhancing usability by improving a rack assembly structure, and a dishwasher having the rack assembly. The dishwasher includes: a washing tub; and a rack assembly provided inside the washing tub, wherein the rack assembly includes: a frame; a tray on which dishes are accommodated and which is movably supported on the frame; and a link unit connecting the frame to the tray and moving the tray to one of a first location and a second location that is lower than the first location, the link unit being rotatably coupled with the frame and the tray.
HEIGHT ADJUSTER MECHANISM FOR A DISHWASHER DISH RACK
A dish rack is supported for both selective movement into and out of a washing chamber of a dishwasher tub and vertically relative to the tub, with the vertical adjustment being made by manually grasping and shifting at least one frontal cross bar extending about a front wall of the dish rack to cause pivoting of first and second lever members extending along sides of the dish rack. The side lever members cooperate with latching mechanisms to lift and retain the dish rack in a select raised position
