A carrier for one or more straws of an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The carrier and/or rack may be in fluid communication with one or more spray elements when in a stowed position within a dishwasher tub. The one or more carriers may route fluid from the one or more spray elements to wash an interior and/or an exterior of at least one straw. The carrier may include one or more bridges projecting inwardly towards the one or more straws defining one or more pathways for received fluid. The body of the carrier may include a lid and/or latch. The carrier may be adjustable to engage one or more straws of varying lengths. The carrier may include an adjustable end and a fixed end. The carrier may include a biasing mechanism.

The first base wall may be disposed at a bottom container end. The first sidewall may extend vertically from the first base wall and define a first container volume with the first base wall. The second base wall may be disposed at the bottom container end and transversely spaced apart from the first base wall. The second sidewall may extend vertically from the second base wall and define a second container volume with the second base wall. The transverse rail may extend from the first sidewall to the second sidewall The handle may extend between the container volumes and have a first transverse edge proximal to the first container volume and a second transverse edge proximal to the second container volume.

A plastic storage bag saver is provided. The plastic bag saver has a pair of base rods configured to rest on a dishwasher rack. A pair of vertical arched support rods extending from the pair of base rods, wherein the pair of vertical arched support rods forms a bag spreader configured to spread and secure a flexible plastic storage bag in an open position. The pair of base rods and the pair of vertically arched rods are formed via a single bent rod. The plastic storage bag saver is an environmentally conscious product that allows for the normally discarded plastic storage bag to be reused after being washed in a dishwasher.

A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation, the dishwasher comprising a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, a dish rack received within the treating chamber and configured for receiving dishes for treatment during the cycle of operation, a sprayer located within the treating chamber and above the dish rack, and emitting a liquid onto the dish rack to form a high-speed spray.

Provided herein are cutlery racks, dishwashers, and associated methods for manufacturing and cleaning with the same. The dishwasher may include a cutlery rack having a first engaging portion, a second engaging portion, and a shelf. The first and second engaging portions may be respectively slidably attached to a first wall and a second wall of a dishwasher rack. The shelf may extend between the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion, may slide in a longitudinal direction with respect to the first wall and the second wall, and may pivot with respect to the dishwasher rack between a working position and a stowed position. In the working position, a receiving surface of the shelf may align with the longitudinal direction, and in the stowed position, the receiving surface shelf may be pivoted out of alignment with the longitudinal direction and positioned adjacent ends of the first and second walls.
