Stand-Alone Dishwasher
A stand-alone dishwasher for non-plumbed, environmentally friendly dishwashing includes a washer body. A front side has a drain aperture extending through to an inner compartment of the washer body. A lid is coupled to the washer body to cover and alternatively uncover a principal aperture. A plurality of rails is coupled within the inner compartment to support a plurality of racks that is removable through the principal aperture. A floor panel is coupled to the washer body and creates a lower compartment between a bottom side of washer body and the floor panel. A heater is coupled within the lower compartment. The heater is configured to turn water within the inner compartment into steam. A plurality of controls is coupled to the lid. The plurality of controls is in operational communication with the heating element.
Retracting dishwasher rack system
A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A spring may drive the rack towards the stowed position. A locking mechanism may be used to secure the rack in one or more positions. A release mechanism and/or a reset mechanism may be used to control the retracting cycle of the rack.
Dishwasher and conveying system therefor
A conveying system for conveying a rack of a dishwasher between a displaced position and a start position along a path as well as a dishwasher including the conveying system are disclosed. In the displaced position, the rack may be displaced with respect to the start position in at least a first direction perpendicular to a main extension plane of the rack. An elevating arrangement may bias the rack towards the displaced position when the rack is located at a portion of the path. A locking arrangement may releasably lock the rack in an intermediate position between the displaced position and the start position when the rack is located at the portion of the path, thereby preventing the rack from being biasedly retracted to the displaced position or preventing the rack from being displaced away from the intermediate position due to weight of articles carried by the rack.
RETRACTING DISHWASHER RACK SYSTEM
A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A release mechanism and/or a reset mechanism may be used to control the retracting cycle of the rack.
Lifting device and dishwasher
A lifting device for a receptacle for items to be washed of a dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher is constructed to lift the receptacle from a starting position, optionally via at least one intermediate position, into an end position or to lower the washing item receptacle from the end position, optionally via at least one intermediate position, into the starting position. The lifting device includes a braking device having at least one damping element which is designed to brake a movement of the 32-receptacle in particular during the lowering process.
Lower rack for a domestic dishwasher having a lower-rack raising means
A lower rack for a domestic dishwasher is constructed for being liftable and includes a fixed lower rack element, and a removable lower rack element connectable to the fixed lower rack element and constructed for removal from the fixed lower rack element to thereby unblock access to a bottom area of a washing container of the domestic dishwasher.
DISHWASHER WITH VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE DISH RACK
A dishwasher includes a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, at least one dish rack in the treating chamber, and a rack height adjustment assembly. The rack height adjustment assembly includes an adjuster plate slidably coupled to the at least one dish rack and fixed vertically relative to the tub, the adjuster plate including at least one adjuster detent, a locking lever having a catch end that is biased to engage the adjuster detent to hold the dish rack in place in either a lowered or raised position, the locking lever being pivotally movable relative to the at least one dish rack between an engaging position where the catch end engages the adjuster detent and a release position where the catch end does not engage the adjuster detent and the dish rack is vertically movable between the lowered and raised positions, and an actuator configured to move the locking lever to the release position when the actuator is moved from an undepressed position to a depressed position.
Modular dishwasher rack with interchangeable and customizable basket inserts
A modular washware rack for a dishwasher, including an open frame having an upper level support structure that is configured to accept at least one basket insert from above and support the at least one basket insert at an upper level, the open frame having a lower level support structure, the at least one basket insert being adjustable in height by lifting and removing the at least one basket insert from the upper level support structure of the open frame and then sliding the at least one basket insert along the lower level support structure to support the at least one basket at a lower level.
